Okay, let me tell you a story. At the beginning of this year I was on the verge of depression. In this state, I thought about quitting cosplay. Nothing made sense anymore, everything seemed lost and useless. I felt incredibly lonely. Life had changed so much that I just gave up.
I've pretty much stopped checking my social media, but a couple of times I noticed posts about a new game set in the Middle Ages. It's funny that what finally drew my attention to this game was an angry post by some dude who “accidentally” discovered the possibility of gay romance and was very unhappy about it. “Haha,” I thought. “Okay, this is interesting.” And so, I discovered «Kingdom Come Deliverance 2».
At that particular moment, I didn't have the opportunity to play the game, but I decided to watch some cutscenes. Just to get an main idea. Of course, I immediately fell in love with hansry. Who didn’t? But something very special happened in my head when I saw HIM.

I admit, I've always been drawn to antagonistic characters. Most of the time, they look like fashion queens. Stylish and dangerous. But this time, I felt a burning thought in my head: “You must make this costume. By any means necessary. Even if it costs you your life.” And I did.
I spent six months putting this costume together. From May to October. From boots to sword. Of course, I had to ask various craftsmen for help. I even had to order some things from other countries. But I must admit that every penny spent was worth the result.
During this project, I’ve met many wonderful people, returned to old hobbies, and lifted my spirit, and I am infinitely grateful to the fandom KCD for this inspiration.
So, I present to you my cosplay of Istvan Toth. Mercenary and spy. A character who provokes much debate and inspires people to create beautiful arts. Some love him, some hate him, but no one remains indifferent.
