How on earth do German speakers deal with so many ways to say the same word like:

"Die Mädchen ist tot!"

"Eigentlich ist das Mädchen tot. dummes Kind."

(Yes I'm aware that the first phrase is incorrect I mean it as a joke for how many different ways there are to say 'the' thanks dingelchen)
