American animation: We are going to take NASCAR drivers and turn them into actual cars. Everyone in the world is a car, the entire world revolves around racing. We’re also going to include real drivers as race cars.

Japanese animation: We are going to take racehorses and turn them into anime horse girls. The entire world revolves around racing. We’re basing all of the horse girls off of real racehorses.

Why are these premises like the exact opposite of each other but still the same thing?

I feel like the people who made Umamusume and the people who made Pixar’s Cars would get along.
