Synopsis for FMP

These are my chosen images for my Final Major project.

In order of Trumps, rise from presidential campaign to his possible future. 

These images, are all my own opinion and are not based on facts. 

This project allowed me to fully express myself through political satire, the process to these images has been long winded but I believe the approach of my own viewpoint rather than facts and statistics is what this project was designed for.

Group tutorial feedback

Last Thursday I attended my last ever group tutorial session. I brought in the images from that I attached to my last post and wanted to get an idea for what a majority liked and whether I should change the title of my work from ‘Trumped’ to ‘Fake News’. The feedback I got was positive, the group helped me narrow down my project to 5 photographs. Allowing me to realise that my project that became about my opinion developed in a chronological way and that my Images could reflect and represent trump from beginning his campaign for presidency to my opinion of him in the future. I walked away from the tutorial knowing that all my images would be A2 size and that the 5 images I am using are my strongest and create a narrative.

These images are part of my final cut shortlist. I believe these to be my strongest work and need to decide which I believe goes best with my narrative. I will be showing these to my tutorial group and will hopefully get some positive feedback.

Portfolio update

After getting feedback from my two professionals and being edge towards narrowing in on an industry, I reshaped my portfolio and its contents based on the industry of commissioned editorial photography. Originally my work consisted of documentary work or so I thought. I have taken the advice of one of the professionals to incorporate between 10-15 images that portray the field I wish to go into. All the images in my portfolio are commissioned editorial projects.
