Are E-cigs Good For You?
I want to get into the question "are e-cigs good for you?" Well, it depends what you define as "good" LOL. If you mean are they better than smoking then YES they are. If you mean is vaping e-cigs better than not vaping/smoking anything I'd have to say NO. I don't think anyone can honestly say that vaping is safer than doing nothing at all! We can't say it's GOOD for you, just better than smoking. First lets look at what we breathe in when we are vaping. If you're making your own e-liquid you can start by steeping your favourite flavouring in the water by boiling. Then maybe you'll want to run it under water and do the same process so you get all the water out you don't want to try to vapor the water in there because it is going to vaporise. Some people will let it sit overnight in vodka or something like that and then do that process or vinegar or pop or some sort of soul or something. But at the end of the day I found most of the times if I just do that blow out that first chemical crap or whatever that is in there. Run it through water do the same thing and then they pan out a little bit just put some juice in there they bonded a little bit.
Eventually it'll come out. You want to prime I think, put a couple drops in there. Usually if you're well you don't know so I have to if you have prefilled cartridges you can put it in there and let it sit in the cool for five minutes or something. I like to drip so I typically have to pry mine off but we're talking about very first they might not be dripping right the first time I didn't clean my first atty and it was really like vaping motor oil, I had horrible flavours, had an instant headache, it felt like there was something there that probably shouldn't have been. It was probably just really nasty P.G. that had been sitting inside metal for god knows how long, it was really really bad, I didn't know what was going on. Don't by any means just start throwing stuff away or get all crazy because it's something else. Keep the hardware clean, get it dry, do whatever and you'll be fine. It's really nothing new to worry about you know what's in there but I think you need to clean it whether you just do blow it was blowing it out. I personally like to use hot water, I've used vodka and didn't like it. Everybody has their own way to clean their atomisers and of course you want to clean them periodically through use. Just kind of an up keep thing we try to make atomisers last as long as we can we've had a pretty good run I'm on several months old now and I rotate them and I haven't had any kind of bad experience and this varies wildly.
Opinions on the best processes or procedures varies widely to some people don't even clean them and say that's the best. So yeah I think we should devote time to that and we will. Your first vape is not going to feel like a cigarette. We've talked about this it's not going to. It's going to feel a little different. How does this relate to are e-cigs good for you? Well, if the first night or two you may have a bit of a sore throat. It's not uncommon I went through it My friends went through and other people that I've talked to have gone through it, some haven't. The biggest advice for that I heard that like vegetable glycerin both will drive you out there they'll dehydrate you a little bit. Well you're going to need to drink a few glasses of water while you're doing it. After I read about that I started drinking water and it stopped happening. Yep, again same thing for me after a couple days I felt fine. It's just you're adjusting to something a little unfamiliar. Again though I'm not a medical professional and if you experience something that doesn't feel right you might just need to stop and if it gets bad you may need to talk to somebody there. It's not a huge segment of the world but there are people that are allergic to propylene glycol and you certainly need to find out if you are. This way I would hope that you'd already know about it because propylene glycol is used in so many things from icing and lotions and everything. Some of the side effects that are common are headaches, possibly blotches in your skin.
Diarrhea is common as a side effect here too. So you can see that whether or not e-cigs are good for you depends more on what type of person you are. Anyway, if you see these side effects you need to stop and you need to find out what's going on but if it's just a bad flavour maybe a slight headache because you're vaping something unfamiliar or a sore throat. Again unprofessional opinion is that's fairly common too and if you go to certain forums or ask around in the community you're going to find that people have had similar experiences. But if it's above and beyond you need to find out what's going on. Sure. The other thing I'd like to mention here too with the first vape and this tends to be whether you're brand new, developing or if it's just a new device. It's going to take at least a day or two to actually figure out exactly what you are doing with your vape, e-juice, battery etc. It looks simple and it is at the end of the day but it's a new thing. It's just a battery, atomiser and a mouthpiece that you just put up your mouth, you inhale, that should be it but there's a learning curve.
You might get too low on juice and you might not realize that you're letting it get too low and it might taste bad all of a sudden because it's it's low on juice and it's just burning up barely what's left. So give yourself some time if you get a model and you think well I probably get into it but this one just isn't doing it. Maybe you need to lower the mg in nicotine strength of your e-liquid. Maybe you need to up it, maybe you need to go to a different model. That's what I found. The better one right out the gate was the ADA one. It was going to work for me 5-10 months. I've got that I didn't buy the carried away just because of I love gadgets and I wanted more stuff so I did. I keep going back to my 510 so if you get it and you think yeah I could get into this but this isn't the model for me, get a different model. Don't just go away if it doesn't work for you. Let's hear, I've got my number one point. Are e-cigs good for you is a bit of a weird question in hindsight. My number one point, my tidbit of help for the new vaper is that you will experience a problem when you first start out but stick with it, keep reading the forums and asking questions at your local vape shop and you can work through any problems at all like that.
