Stop Bullying

Bullying has been on for years and its something not that easy to stop. Parents no longer have control over their kids when they are at school and though their teachers are there, bullying can happen away from their sight or knowledge. What teachers & parents can do is to help strengthen the self esteem of a child so when he or she is bullied, it will not affect him/her in any way.

This is one of the reasons we chose to homeschool our kids, to eliminate the risk of them turning bullies due to peer pressure or be victimized by a bully themselves. This is definitely a sign the society is going downhill, but there is still hope.

This is very alarming! I was once bullied in primary school and in high school but showing that you can be taken advantage of will only make the bullies target you more. I sure hope the kids would get to stand up for themselves to avoid bullying. And they’d definitely be braver if the school administration addresses this issue. Thanks for this eye-opening post sir

Because of AI has made our lives easier. The purpose of A.I can used for is to solve all the remaining mystery in this world, help humans job that need critical thinking and creativity. Most of the company owners, AI is really necessary for their company because it determines the success of their company. But because of AI people became dependent, it reduce our power of decision making and Ai become smarter than humans.

 AI is already able to defeat the world’s best poker players, predict crime, read your lips, clone any voice, beat human doctors on clinical exams as well as better predict the death risk of their patients.

The Beginning of Artificial Intelligence

Technologies in our world today is an essential part of our daily lives and one could not imagine living without it. From time to time, different kinds of technologies has been made with the purpose of serving and helping us to attain an easier life. As of this moment, the hottest subject discussed in the field of technology is the Artificial Intelligence (AI). 

Artificial Intelligence is an intelligence in contrast with what humans obtain: natural intelligence. The core research in AI began in the 1950s when it was thoroughly observed that there was a linkage between humans and machines.  But the field of AI wasn’t formally founded until 1956, at a conference at Dartmouth College, in Hanover, New Hampshire, where the term “artificial intelligence” was coined by John McCarthy and is regarded as the ‘Father of IA”.

According to some reports, government funding and interest in the field dropped off and not ‘til 6 years when it was revived. It happened for several times but they did not gave up to achieve such enormous project. Atlast, their determination was paid off when they finished one, and another one, and ‘til it was countless. Observe today’s latest AI and you would see a lot of human-like characteristics that they have, controlled by machines. This could be the best thing ever to happen to humanity.

We advocate for laws and policies that will protect everyone’s dignity. We work for a world where all people can enjoy their rights fully.

Which coutry has the better legal claim to Scarborough Shoal?

Who owns the Scarborough Shoal? Is it the Philippines or China? The island was once called as the South China Sea and later on was changed to Scarborough Shoal. The island is part of one of the many island in the Philippines.

The island was claimed by the People’s Republic of China. According to the Chinese, they own the territory but the old map shows that the said territory belongs to the Philippines. China sent warships to roam arround and invade Scarborough Shoal and it frightened the fisher men and the residence of the island. This issue bring strain to the relationship between Philippines and China. 

It is therefore concluded that to solve this dispute is to bring  this case to the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS). There should be a new agreement to both nations and to settle this issue to regain again the relationship of the Philippines and China.
