Made this account to post my art and just realized I never do that. Here's some Iron Lung fanart I painted with gouache. It took me around 7 hours to finish but I guess I'm happy with the result.

Iron Lung alternate universe where everything is watermelon related instead of flesh and blood. It's the exact same but but Simon travels in the Melon Lung, made of watermelon rines and gets attacked by the watermEELon.

SPOILERS

By the end, Simon has fully embraced the Melon Man and makes the melon man sacrifice, allowing the watermelon entity to grow inside and outside of him. Vines sprout out of the walls and his open wounds, flowers bloom and fruit, using his body as nutrients to grow, even entire watermelons burst out of his body...that's how he loses his arm.

This is probably the stupidest thing I've ever thought of, but I Love it. I already have concept art for Melon Lung.
