What God did this summer in Virginia Beach
Praise God for His work this summer in Virginia Beach. I am honored to have been serving alongside my brothers in sisters for the cause of Christ.

“Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory” Isaiah 6:3
When I hear this song I imagine the epic repeat of praise that will be vocalized to our God forever.
Just imagine joining the chorus above and singing!!!
“Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come” Revelation 4:8.
This week has been full of learning; learning humility from a gracious God and learning how to discern His will. I am thankful that God is tearing apart my prideful heart and showing me how to be humble.
Many times during the week I wondered why I even have social media accounts… and I realized that the moment I don’t use these mediums to profess Christ as Lord, then that is the day I get rid of these accounts. But for now may God be glorified through all my posts, words and actions.
My prayer today is that you find the love, acceptance and forgiveness that is Jesus Christ.
New town, new home, new campus. Christ’s love and compassion is ever-present by His own authoritative power and is manifested in our own locations if we live as though the Gospel is written on our arms. Let us be strong to realize that Christ is with us always and deserves to be glorified. ..always.
My prayer this week is that I live out the love of Christ; the deep, unending love that He still holds for every one of His children that I seem to have misplaced. May I share the Gospel as I did in Virginia Beach, allowing the Holy Spirit to work through me and not limit His power by any amount of disbelief. Note: Daily prayer, reflection, discipleship and devotions are key in fostering the relationship between man and God. Oswald Chambers daily message often leaves me pondering the depth of God’s being and power right up to the point when I pick it up to turn the page again and read the next dialogue. My friends, be yoked with believers. Authors, friends, co-workers, family. Seek out the Christians around you and hold them close. A time is coming when we will need the strength of those around us to carry us through times of persecution from the devil, man and this world. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14 KJV

For context: Evan is the guy highlighted in the 'bubble'. He has been growing a padawan braid for some time now and it appears that the project directors wife, Lisa, wanted to stretch out that braid a little more.

Romans 12:2 "And be not conformed to this world"
Today is the day that I begin deleting secular music from my computer/mp3 player. I have been convicted today by the Holy Spirit to rid my surroundings of any music that does not glorify God.
Romans 12:1-3 KJV
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

What our room looked like this summer. Room #206 had it's highs (=clean) and lows (=not clean) but I am glad to have called it home for the past 10 weeks.
It is not where you are that is important.... it is who you are with.

Learning on a rainy day
This song came on the radio after I ran through the rain from 'Target' to my parked car. I had just hung up the phone with a good friend of mine (Parker Wilson) who has always been an encouragement to me; in that he is always searching, always asking thoughtful questions to know God's will. I opened the car door, sat in the seat soaked... thanking God for life.

I wrote down the lyrics of this song in my phone in order to look it up later. When I went to spell "Jesus" it auto-corrected the lower case 'j' for and uppercase 'J'. In that moment I was so thankful. His name must always be placed in the highest!!!
