“I’m not going to let you buy any more drinks, it’s enough for you, go home and sleep it off,” Andrea said to a man, who was rocking back and forth already. But at the end of the night the man still managed to get even more drunk and he had already passed out when Andrea noticed it. “Shit,” she cursed under her breath and got up to walk over to the sleeping drunk. She lightly slapped him a couple of times, but it did nothing. He was much taller than her and much heavier too, so carrying him out on her own wasn’t an option either. “Can anyone please help me with him?” the woman raised up looking over the bar.

            despite the constant protests from her siblings to be so protective of their well being, alma refused to admit how clingy she was to her siblings, knowing the horrid things that were surrounding them every second the day and it was much easier to deal with their shit then her own. looking over at her younger sister the moment she moved into the bar, alma raised her eyebrow enough to show her curiousness. “ as long as you promise me that you didn’t kill the dude, ” she teased with a small smile on her lips.

When I was asked to change Laurel into a Latina for How to Get Away with Murder, I was terrified, because I thought, no one’s going to know how to do this because the American take on my culture is never accurate. Until they hired a Latina to write for Laurel, I was scared that she was going to fall into stereotypes. They promised me they wouldn’t do that sort of “defining nature of my character is that she’s Latina.” It has nothing to do with that. She just happens to be a Latina. I think that, you know, that fear still comes from exactly what we’re talking about. There’s not enough of those inclusive projects where I feel like I’m interpreting a human being and not just a statistic or a nationality.

          she hadn’t moved in two days -- and the darkness that was now surrounding them wasn’t something that she was worried about. her phone was flashing and constantly filled with vibrations of people trying to get a hold of her, possible clients that wanted her to stand up for them but the previous text message caused the woman to go into a downhill spiral. it was only a matter of time for everyone to find out that she was a fraud --- a fake, and then how was she going to make sure her siblings were safe and in tact? with their parents no where to be found in the past few months, it was only making the weight of taking care of her siblings pushing on her shoulders with such pressure that she felt as though she was just digging her own grave. “ thanks for letting me stay, ” she muttered quietly as she heard the door close, eyes bloodshot from exhaustion but sleep being the last thing on her mind since the trial with devlin and micah started.

          Casper. He’d certainly found his brother, but the state he’d found him in made Ronan wish he hadn’t, a subtle shudder running up his spine. “ Yeah, they’re safe. Didn’t find Daisy but she’s alive, my brother… Is fine, I think. Good. How about your family? ” He shifted in his seat ever so slightly, keeping an eye on the man who’d been bothering Alma moments before, making sure he was keeping his distance.

           Wiping her eyes once again to clean up the tears, Alma allowed her attention to focus on the Lancaster beside her, the one person that deserved to be crying after losing a family member ( adopted or not ) then have his sister go missing. Alma had time to self-loathe, and that was on her own time, preferably in a bathroom where no one could catch her doing such act. “ Uh --- haven’t found any of of ‘em yet, was hoping if I sat here, I could catch them walking through the lobby, ” she muttered with a small shrug.

“How long do we have to stay here?” Silver sighed running her hand through her golden tresses as she looked to the floor. She wasn’t talking to anyone in-particular,and she hoped no one would notice her. She already lied about where her parents were and why she was alone so young. Trying to control her leg from shaking uncontrollably,she felt the urge to get high wash over her, it was getting harder to have self control especially in a place full of strangers, her only friend being the dead guy.

          Alma had always been the one person that managed to keep herself centered, always allowed herself to put things on the back burner -- including her own feelings -- until they were needed to be tended to, but the anxiety of not knowing where her siblings were, or even the people she cared about, was causing the woman’s insides to scream with annoyance at anyone that managed to come close to her and mutter words and the blonde was the breaking point for the woman. “ Please, for the love of God, shut up. If you’d like to go live in a house that’s most likely burnt to a crisp and probably hoarding criminals, then by means, fuck off. ”

           Turning her head to look at the male that managed to make the other turn to walk away, her insides almost felt relieve, although she wasn’t sure if it was because of the other leaving or because the tears were finally forming in her eyes. “ ---- Thank you, ” she managed to push out before wiping under her eyes once more, taking in a deep breath. “ Your family safe? I heard Tessa was with Holden and all, did you find Casper and Daisy? ”
