if skwisgaar is reading one of his sword n sorcery novels toki will read over his shoulder and tell him not to flip the page yet and ask ten thousand questions about who the characters are bc he started from where skwisgaar was reading rather than the beginning

I’M WEAK.

a) Skwisgaar obviously reads sword n sorcery novels, I appreciate that as a fandom we accept and approve of this

b) This doesn’t bother Skwisgaar in the least, like, he doesn’t even pretend it bothers him. He’s happy to have Toki there with him, engaging in one of his favorite pastimes, resting his chin on his shoulder to read with him. Falling asleep there. Breathing gently against the crook of his neck.

c) Skwisgaar reads one of his favorite books to him in the hospital after Doomstar. From the beginning. Toki’s unconscious/asleep for most of it, but Skwisgaar reads it anyway. When he wakes up, Toki’s first question is about whether they ever found the dragons. “Ja. Ja, we dids.” Skwisgaar is a mess.
