The following year, he released single “Crew Love” off of Take Care, which reached the Top Ten of Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart and was then featured on another single with similar success, Wiz Khalifa’s “Remember You.” Afterwards, Tesfaye signed with Universal Republic and remastered his previous mixtapes for his album Trilogy, which featured three new songs in November 2012 and went platinum that May. He also achieved success with a series of chart topping, non-album singles, such as “Often” and “Earned It” as well as being featured in Ariana Grande’s “Love Me Harder.” In 2015, Tesfaye released hits “The Hills” and “Can’t Feel My Face” as the first two singles from Beauty Behind the Madness, which debuted at number one. After breaking up from the band and trading his bass in for a guitar, Sting debuted his first solo album, The Dream of the Blue Turtles, in 1985. The album put him on the grid as a viable solo pop artist with hit songs including “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free” and “Fortress Around Your Heart.” Achieving success as a solo artist, The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has sold over 100 million records and has received 16 Grammy Awards. Recently, Sting has spent the last two years touring and sometimes co-headlining with Paul Simon, as well as promoting 57th & 9th, his first album of pop songs in almost 13 years.
