The Hickey Incident (or: Venice’s Favorite New Piece of Blackmail)

Okay but imagine this— Venice is about 16 or 17, and one morning he catches sight of a very suspicious mark on Papa Pete’s neck. Pete’s trying his best to act normal, but the collar of his shirt isn’t doing him any favors. Venice squints. Then smirks. “Nice bruise, Papa,” he says, all fake innocence. “You should tell Dad to be more careful next time.” Pete just about dies on the spot, face bright red, muttering something about “laundry duty for a month.” Vegas, of course, is leaning against the counter looking way too pleased with himself. “What can I say?” he says smoothly. “Your Papa’s irresistible.” Venice groans. “I’m leaving. You two are gross.” Pete’s burying his face in his hands, Vegas is laughing, and Venice is grinning as he heads out — because honestly, teasing his dads is way too easy. Just soft, funny family chaos. Vegas being smug, Pete being flustered, and Venice being the ultimate little menace. 🩷
