The digital English translation of my first published comic is up and available for purchase!

The comic "Break what fate builds", draws inspiration from historical events from the 12th century and motifs from the Byzantine Empire that ruled these areas. Through the characters' eyes, this story focuses on the relationship of young people within the Balkan & their home, distortions of identity, things long lost and much more.

finished up chapter 2 of volume 2 of Break What Fate Built Tonight :-) posting crops of some of my fav hands i drew for this part in honour of #completion

that being said. 40 pages of volume 2 r done. one third of the way there. 🦐 wahh

not my usual art post but i just want 2 say a huge hug and an I Love You to all artists with an unrelated 9-5 that are pulling all-nighters to finish The Big Art Project they refuse to give up on despite the amount of stretching yourself thin that's going into it

2025 art roundup!!

kind of had to scrape this together, there wasn't that much art this year. and considering i'm working on the final volume of my comic book (yay) chances are there won't be very many arts i can post immediately this upcoming year either. I will be back once the Big One is finished by the end of 2026!! but either way if you've reblogged or left a note on any of my art, please know that it legitimately keeps me going in life. u don't have to do it and yet people are so nice on here and it just. means a lot. i keep all the nice notes screenshotted in a little folder and look at them frequently <3 thank you so much <3

i know ppl say "u couldn't pay me to relive _insert year here_" too often but genuinely in the nicest way possible, i would rather be in the ground than be put through 2025 again. some objectively nice things happened. i got my degree, moved out to live on my own, worked on plenty of book covers, traveled abroad for a literary competition, got hired (in a copletely unrelated field. lol) etc etc. but aside from the sucesses that kind of feel like obligations either way, this whole year just felt like one gigantic step back. major identity losses and weird health issues. couldn't leave my house for about a week straight that one time in winter. very very difficult to navigate creating things when very basic existential/economic things are under a big question mark. most of those have been solved now, and im still trying to accept the fact that things aren't in a nosedive currently. which is a bit hard. i think its just difficult to reckon with the fact that some people are destined to maybe not be very happy in life. i considered making some art about That. but in the end just leaving it alone felt right. i don't know what kind of changes i'll have to make in the new year for anything to feel good again. art feels good. i want to continue making art, but time is so very tight. i have to learn how to navigate that now. going into 2026 very scared and tired. tired of being tired. i just hope i can make all the art i can as well as i can. if i know one thing is worth it, it's that

A death most deserving

saw this statue like two weeks ago and was immediately struck by how much it reminded me of my boys Mojmir and Kalin and how i should be working on my second volume instead of this. basically a redraw of Death and the Maiden by Elna Borch kind of.
