MACARIO’S: intro, about, pictures, bodyclaim, musings, headcanons, wants, interactions
dante.
@unveilstarters dressed as jason dean from the heathers, dante reveled in the 90s punk gear as he sipped on a beverage in the corner of the chateau while stalking one of the many men who looked like they could be prey tonight. licking his lips at the devilish thoughts swirling in his mind had only soured when the lights flickered and his mind went on high alert that something or someone had been attacking the chateau.
they had plans for this - from his brothers to the other residents and dante was quick to whisper an incantation to turn his hand into an illusion. a large candle snapped on while dante kept his fingers together causing a molecular spark to keep the light source constant.
“ everyone okay? ” these damn masks were hard enough to see and now he couldn’t tell who was who. he just hoped the others would beckon to the light he had been casting.
the costumes were all fitting for the month of halloween. macario himself was dressed in a victorian style, almost like he came out from one of the history books. he had been calmly walking around before the events unfolded. the witch decided to remain still, wanting to be on high alert if anything happened. shadows were wrapping around him to hide himself further in the dark. if someone was after them, they wouldn’t find him.
when he saw the candle sparking, he only thought of a select few people. he was in the presence of a witch, one with the same abilities as his brother. “ i’m fine for now, sparky, what about you? ” he had half a mind to wrap a shadow around dante’s spark, but he would hold off on that.
instead he tried to look over at the windows, seeing if any of them were broken. “ should we patrol outside? two witches can probably handle this. ” assuming sometimes made him look like an idiot, but he hoped this wasn’t one of those times.

Even though Brock had only been at the Chateau for a couple of weeks now, he couldn’t help but be absolutely amazed by everything. It wasn’t just the fact that he was a merman and he was surrounded by supernatural creatures, but it was also because he was surrounded by so many attractive men. He had no idea how this place could be full of so many gorgeous men, but he knew that it was definitely a bonus to living in a place like this. And who knows? Maybe he’d find someone to help him move past his nervousness and fears and help him get rid of his virginity.
But what truly amazed him was the capabilities of everyone. From watching plants grow before his eyes in the garden to seeing a man perform literal water bending at the lake, he was absolutely amazed by everything and anything and so when he heard about the party that they were hosting? Well, he was quick to find a costume. And what better costume to be than Mermaid Man, complete with starfish mask and pink, fuzzy house shoes.
As darkness overcame the party, though, he had to stop from swallowing the lump in his throat - as a merman he couldn’t exactly see things as well as some of the other supernatural party-goers - and he moved to scratch the back of his neck. “I uh… I have a flashlight in my room? But uh…” he paused as he spoke to the person nearest him, looking down nervously as he realized just where his room was. It didn’t matter to him that, by telling this person where his room was would reveal his identity - or part of it, anyway - but what he was bothered by is the fact that the basement was bound to be darker. At least the main floor had windows where the moonlight could stream through.
“It’s in the basement. Would you… would you be able to come with me?”
Having fun with a bunch of attractive residents and locals wasn’t a problem for Macario. The witch knew that he was in good company and he was letting his id take over for the night. When the lights were cut off, that did put a fork in his plans. He didn’t know what to do at first. Witches were stronger together than apart, but he didn’t know who anyone was. His brothers were nowhere to be found either, he could have at least sensed them out. Mac was going through all of his contingency plans before he heard a voice nearby. A flashlight, oh this person was sent to him by Eve herself.
“The basement, huh? Interesting.“ Macario would analyze that later. For the time being he moved his hand to where he heard the voice and then moved it down to grab Brock’s hand. “I’ve been here for quite some time, so I think I can get us down there. Plus, the shadows are my friend.“ Maybe he was giving out part of his identity, but he didn’t really care. The witch closed his eyes, wanting to work on muscle memory alone, and then he started to head out of the room.
Almost like he was playing a loop of walking around the chateau in his head, he walked out of the grand hall. Macario stuck his free hand out just in case they were going to bump into any other party goers or walls. He found the railing to the stairs and quietly made an excited sound. “We’re here. Well, not basement here, but at the stairs. We can go down slowly and keep holding hands.” The witch started to do just that, one step at a time. “Is your room one of the first ones or at the end? On the left or right?”
kalei.
One of the things that the witch loved the most about the Chateau, apart from it being a place that celebrated everyone’s differences, was the fact that he was more than confident that the person behind the mask in front of him was attractive. Even the people that lived in the nearby city were ridiculously attractive, and he wondered if there was some sort of beacon that drew in all of the attractive people to this small location in Louisiana - it would explain why there seemed to be more attractive people here than anywhere else that the botanist had visited over the course of his life.
“Give it some time, you never know what dangers might be lurking around here,” Kalei spoke, humor in his tone as he received a strawberry daiquiri from the bartender. Giving them a nod, he turned his attention back to the other man, curiosity getting the better of him as he wondered just who was behind the mask.
But then again, there was something thrilling about fooling around with a guy you didn’t know a thing about.
“Oh, well, now I don’t want to tell you whether I’m having fun or not until you tell me how you’d plan on changing that.”
For the most part, Macario’s life was pretty constant. There was only traveling when the hunters found a new lead. Then when the triplets broke out of their home, they went straight to the chateau for a safe haven. It was safe to say that this was the first time he got to experience a lot of the world. One of those things being lavish parties filled with attractive people. Sure, he couldn’t see anyone’s face, but he knew they were all beautiful underneath their masks. After all, most of them were the residents he saw everyday.
"I feel like we’re just jinxing it at this point, you know? Saying there’s nothing to worry about, but things can be lurking, and then boom.” A smirk formed on his face at the prospect of entertaining an unknown person. God, he loved these parties. “There’s a lot of skills in my arsenal. It could just be conversation or something a little more.”
Moments later the chandelier fell and the lights cut off. Macario was right about the two of them jinxing it, but he wasn’t worried.
He set his drink down on the counter so he wouldn’t be holding glass and didn’t move after that. “What was that about having fun and things lurking about?”

Open to everyone - @unveilstarters·
Oh, how Kalei absolutely loved the masquerade ball that the Chateau threw every year. It was a time when so many creatures could get together and be in harmony, a notion that the warlock worked hard to achieve - many often saw him as a mediator of sorts as he tried to ensure that everyone was left happy - and even the residents in the nearby village were able to get in on the fun. Of course, he knew that some of the creatures like to mess with the unsuspecting humans - vampires showing off their fangs, weres partially shifting, warlocks practicing their powers - but for the most part? Everything was civil and merry.
And it gave Kalei a sense of anonymity, something he absolutely loved because a man as large as he was often made people feel intimidated - until they realized just what kind of man he was, at least - so with the mask on, he was perfectly able to get to know people without them feeling like he was hard to get to know just because he was a bigger guy. Dressed up as Mr. Incredible, a play on the fact that many of his lovers often called him incredible, the witch approached the drink table and offered a smile to the closest person.
“Enjoying yourself?”
After leaving the witch hunters and searching for their birth mother, Macario knew that there was no turning back for the triplets. That was why he was enjoying himself at the annual masquerade ball. There wasn’t going to be a creature in sight that was going to get in the way of him having some fun. If push came to shove, he’d have to use his powers and reveal that he was one of the witches. For now, nothing was happening that proved to be harmful or threatening to any of them. Everyone looked the same thanks to the magic in the air. Hell, he couldn’t even tell who were locals or residents.
When approached by another person in a fantastic suit, he rose his glass and smiled. “For the time being I seem to be. Nothing has crawled out of my drink or given me a fright. How are you spending the night?” Macario took a sip of his cranberry vodka before setting it down on his napkin. He fixed the large hat that was a part of his costume and then turned his body towards Kalei, giving the other his full attention. “If you’re not having fun, then we’re just going to have to change that.”
moby.
‘Twas the night before forenoon, throughout all the manor there wasn’t a stir, his seventh night without being in the sea had made the mermen a bit seasick. So, with the blanketing of velvet-silk curtain the sky above, a simple window looming over the back of the manor where the pool resides and his silhouette that had been pacing back and forth between the curtains, the need to be submerged in a water was overwhelming and kept him from his sleep. Until he could take it no longer, bare feet lightly slapped against the hardwood floorboards, heading for the back of the house which didn’t take him long in the slightest, the only thing on his mind was to be outside in that salt pool for a moment’s of peace.
Truly being one of the longest weeks, he’s ever experienced in his life, the humans are rather draining creatures and well the rest of the species seem to mirror them so much it did his head in. Leaving the backyard lights off to not disturbed the stars reflected on the surface of the water, he stopped to marvel at the water through the glass panel from this angle he couldn’t see the sky but he knew it was reflecting on the mirror surface of the water and not wasting another moment within the walls, he ventured out into the night atmosphere hit with the brisk cold air but it didn’t deter him, no it made him calm as he breathed in through his nose and out through his mouth.
And only a few feet forwards, he plugged into the icy depths of the water, the dive near perfect form - however, his legs slightly lagged. The splash spitting over the cobblestone pool decking, by the time the drops had finished raining downwards the blonde had made to the other side of the pool. Only to the ridge of his nose was emerged from the water, blinking the droplets of water from his eyes whilst he scanned over the immediate area, humming an old sea chantey outwardly rippling the waters surface around him. Falling into a trance of his own creation, not knowing how long he had been in this state but it was long enough to be startled by a silhouette mirroring over the night sky reflected in the midst of the pool behind him. “Holy Neptune!” Was spoken in startled manner under the water which came out as nothing more then muffles of words underwater. Popping his head out of the water, turning to look at the other through his wet blonde hair, using his legs to keep his head afloat. “You materialised like the fog vaporising in the sunlight in the forenoon, don’t you?” He chuckled lightly to rid him from the suddenness of it all.
Death and darkness were normally categories associated with vampires. They felt a connection to the cemetery like no other. Macario, being a witch, was surprised he had the same pull. With the gift of necromancy came his connection to death. With the ability to manipulate the shadows around him came the connection to darkness. A strange mix that he didn’t know where it came from since he had yet to meet his biological mother. Needing answers, or at least to lose himself in his thoughts once more, the witch went by the water. The shadows wrapped around him like a protective barrier, slipping and sliding until he was covered by darkness.
A small animal carcass rested in between long fingers. Macario couldn’t see in the dark, but he could sense death. He wanted to see if he can bring the body of a bird back from the other side with his sense alone. Magic was within, it coursed through nature, it breathed in life. While he was on the other side of that, he still had that same connection. He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. With it, he began to absorb the elements of the bones that kept them dormant, that took their life away. When he let out his next breath, he released life down into his hands and closed his eyes.
The sound of splashing caught the witch off guard and his focus was cracked. Like a mirror that had just been shattered, the shadows began to tear apart from his body and left him there in his grey sweatpants. By the time he was completely alone, no shadows wrapping around him, he was standing next to the pool. Moby’s song was luring, almost pulled him into the pull, but he wasn’t wearing the correct attire for that. Macario smiled once his position was given away, darkness going from the precious shadows and into his coquettish smile. “Technically, I materialize from the shadows within and around me, so I guess that you’re not entirely wrong. I was hiding in them until my concentration broke and then I saw you here. You must have ran to that pool fast, because I didn’t hear you until you crashed into it.” The witch leaned down to look into the water, eyes going beneath the surface to see a pair of legs instead of a tail. “Interesting. You didn’t want to transform here?”
marius.
“Oh good, something interesting- finally.” Which by Marius meant, of course, was the person who just walked into one of the elaborate rooms of the Chateau where Marius had been settle down on one of the various lounges. The farm The vampire himself was wearing a pair of the silk pj’s, the shirt opens on the robe and the easy, black pants loose around his waist in that most sensual of ways., showing off various muscles and a rather distracting V line. As if Marius was ever not a sensual being as it seemed to be his default setting. The vampire had been a familiar enough sight around the Chateau for last few years of so- enough to have somewhat of a reputation of being what a player- but after four hundred years of being alive he’d argue that almost anyone would have a reputation of such a thing.
Marius’s bright eyes were dancing playfully, rimmed by the black eyeliner he’s so often wearing, his nails painted a shiny rather noticeable gold colour, shining off the light of the fireplace that was dancing over the room. “ I was getting dreadfully bored.” He pointed out with an amused tone running though his voice as his eyes flicked up and down the other. Vampires always hold themselves in that aloof, almost ethereal way, and Marius was no different, as if they were always if they were ready for this conversation to go this a thousand different ways.
“Are you new/ Or did you just escape my attention till now? That would be a tragic situation.” He mused, almost speaking to himself.
@unveilstarters
Practicing his magic was something that Macario was always prepared for. That was why he was absentmindedly walking through the chateau with shadows wrapping all around him. Some hugged his body quite nicely, concealing what he was wearing. Others were lurking around him like a protective barrier. If allowed to be in this haze long enough, he was sure that he would end up looking like some form of octopus or jellyfish. When Marius’ words pierced through his concentration, the shadows slowly started to peel away or reel back in. In their place revealed that he was wearing a gray shirt, sleeveless of course. It was tucked into his blue jeans and topped off with a pair of white sneakers. The witch had just come from practicing the craft in the forest and he was still in that same mindset.
His eyes trailed over to the vampire, the fireplace, and then over to the vampire again. “ I’m not new, believe it or not, but I’m glad I can be a cure to boredom. ” He grinned slightly as he sat down on the edge of the sofa. “ My brothers and I have been here for five years, but for a vampire that’s probably a blimp in your radar and we’ve managed to slide right on by. ” Although triplets witches weren’t really a common occurence. Still, he wasn’t going to judge a vampire’s thought processes. In fact, he was rather intrigued by how Marius’ mind worked and wanted to know more. “ Which makes it tragic then, correct? ”
paco.
“Maybe you’re just lucky to find me on my good side—” says Paco. “People piss me off and assume I’m like that all of the time. I’m not a provoker. But it’s good to know you aren’t one, either. That means you have restraint, which means you’re strong-willed. That’s one of the most important qualities a man could have, if you ask me.”
“Well, you know how jaguars fight…? They’re unique for biting through the skulls of their opponents, piercing their brains to kill them instantly. Pretty good strategy if you ask me. Not that I’ve ever actually done that. Nobody’s given me a reason to… yet. But there’s only so much a jaguar can do on their own. A little magic can be useful…”
Paco thinks of a comment he could have made about being in the company of three capable, attractive young men, but ultimately decides against it. Not the time or place. “One witch is just fine. Would argue more than one of you at a time is a potential problem anyway,” he smirks. “You know, we’ve never really gotten a chance to talk much since you’ve been here. What’s your story? Folks don’t usually end up in a place like this by choice…”
“If you have a bad side, then I’m sure I don’t want to see it. Don’t get me wrong, it probably gets people hot and bothered, but you can tear me to shreds so I think I’ll pass.“ People were always blaming others. Macario seemed to understand, at least somewhat, as he nodded and though about a couple of his own instances. “Guess we both have some self control.”
His brows furrowed together as he heard Paco explain how jaguars killed. The brain contained everything, without it there was nothing. “Honestly, if you ever get to that level remind me to steer clear. With a little bit of magic maybe I can form some shadows around you to make it seem like you’re bigger, or there are multiple version of you. The target will be too distracted to defend themselves.”
At least his company was fine. Macario placed his hands on his hips and took a quick glance around their remote area. He always seemed to be cautious of who was listening. “My brothers and I were raised by witch hunters. We were apparently stolen from our parents, our mother a powerful witch according to the grimoire she teleported to us. When we reached eighteen we ran and have been here ever since. Personally, I want to get strong enough where I can impress her when we meet. What’s your story?”
paco.
“Defensive,” says Paco. “My personal belief is that defense is much more important than offense. Prepare for an attack, and then act accordingly if your defense is overtaken. I’m not an aggressor, despite what some people might say about me.” Paco did had a reputation because of his blunt, sometimes harsh, personality. But others’ opinions of himself were just that: opinions. And Paco lived long enough to know that opinions were not always correct.
The idea of the young, boyish witch protecting him elicited a chuckle from the back of Paco’s throat. “Thanks. Might need it some day,” Paco says, getting to his feet, surprised to notice that the witch actually had a few inches on him. Paco had grown used to his average height by now; he didn’t need to be taller to feel important or worthy of respect. (He did, however, have something of a kink for younger men with a few extra inches on them. But that was for him to know and for them to find out.)
“Where are your brothers? I feel like I rarely see any of you around here without the others. They have a day off from witchery or something?”
“That’s a smart move. Sometimes a straightforward offense is the worst move someone can take. Defense has a chance to analyze the attack and if they have fast reflexes, respond according. Throwing the first punch is signing your death contract.“ Not all of the time, but Macario knew the importance of holding back. He held back from his adoptive family for five years. “You don’t seem too aggressive to me. At least not to an offensive amount.” Some bark was needed with a bite.
The witch grinned at te idea of protecting the werejaguar. His head was already filling with ideas of what that would look like. “You spot them coming and I”ll take care of them for you. Sounds like a plan?” With him in the front, they might not even reach them. Macario could summon the dead from the ground beneath them and wrap shadows around others. “You’re in good hands, trust me.” He dropped his chin a bit, keeping eye contact with Paco. The height different seemed to be something he enjoyed.
"Surprisingly, I have no idea. If I can guess, one is on the roo casting illusions and the other is sleeping up a vision right now. Why, one isn’t enough for you?”
paco.
“Would be a cause for concern if we didn’t have our wits about it, don’t you think?” Paco responds, smirking at the younger man behind him. One of the Villalobos triplets. Paco couldn’t tell the difference between any of them on sight; they each looked exactly the same. He did, however, get the sense that the triplet talking to him now was Macario. The one with the shadows and death, if memory served. Definitely one to watch out for.
Nevertheless, he continues his workout as though the other isn’t there. “Well, thanks,” says Paco, offering the other a knowing grin. As much as Paco pretended to himself that he didn’t seek the validation of others, any compliment he got on his physique went straight to his head. He worked hard on that body, and he wanted others to notice. No shame in that.
“You seem like you’re in pretty good shape yourself, kid. You just go for a run or something? Heard you coming in from the woods… that place gives me the creeps. Must mean you don’t spook easily, then?”
“We would probably be more susceptible to attacks if that were the case. Are you more offensive or defensive?“ Macario realized that none of his brothers were around. When he got as close to Paco as possible, while still respecting boundaries, he fished out his ‘M’ necklace and let it rest on his chest over his shirt. Thankfully there weren’t many doubles or triples around, but he knew that it could probably get confusing.
The young witch continued to look over at the man’s physique, now that his presence was known he wasn’t creeping. The grin was returned with a coy smirk of his own. “Don’t mention it, only the truth leaves my lips so you know I mean it.” Technically, that was a lie, but he wasn’t going to dig too much into that face.
"I do a lot of running and the dead keep me up. Yeah, I came from a run just now though. Played around with some shadows.” Macario chuckled softly. Without interrupted Paco’s workout, he briefly touched the man’s upper back. “Don’t worry, I’ll protect you. It doesn’t spook me though. Once the cemetery became a hideout for me, there’s not much that can spook me.” Then he dropped his hand back down to his side.
paco.
open to: anyone! @unveilstarters
He hated to admit it, but Paco knew he wasn’t as young as he used to be. Though you wouldn’t necessarily know it from the way he looked, Paco recently entered his fifties, so keeping fit? Absolutely crucial for his lifestyle. He couldn’t let the younger bucks in the world eclipse him. He didn’t want to become redundant.
(Looking hot was definitely another part of it, though…)
The Chateau didn’t have much in the way of workout equipment, so Paco had to procure his own workout paraphernalia. (Some of this gear was probably older than half of the Chateau’s residents…) He usually settled himself on the back patio, allowing anybody and everybody to watch him working on his fitness. He didn’t seek their attention, but hey… who said being thicc was a younger man’s game? Especially when he started on his squats. Paco needed to keep his impressive ass as firm and luscious as it was in his twenties. If anybody wanted to eat the free eye candy, that was their prerogative. But because of his deep, deep focus, Paco didn’t even notice someone else encroaching on his space.
“Can I help you…?” asks Paco, looking over his shoulder at his guest, presenting a prime view of his derrière as he did his squats; those tight workout pants he wore left absolutely nothing to the imagination. “Not that I blame you for staring, but that don’t make you any less of a creep for doing it—”
Practicing magic wasn’t really bound to a specific place in the chateau. Macario was aware of this, but still, he preferred doing so deep in the forest or alone in his room. The first option also gave him an excuse to run around and be active. After messing around with a couple of the shadows deep with, he started to jog back to the chateau.
Upon arrival, he saw Paco. He recognized the man as one of the were-creatures around the area, but now he was getting a different sight of him. He looked up at the sky before returning his gaze over to the older man. For now, the skies seemed to remain clear. Although, it only took one person with weather manipulation to change that for the rest of them. He adjusted his grey sweat shorts and black, sleeveless shirt so that he remained comfortable. Macario continued to look over at Paco, nearly shamelessly, and tried his best to study his form. He definitely had a nice body and the hard work that he put into it showed off.
When his eyes traveled down to the other’s ass, he was apparently caught. “All you weres have that sense when someone is creeping.” He chuckled softly, stepping closer and looking up to Paco’s eyes. “I was just studying your form. You keep in good shape and I’m not surprise, those squats were impressive.”
froy gutierrez, pansexual, male + he/him → isn’t that macario villalobos? i’ve seen them hanging out with the witches. i hear they’re twenty-three years old, but they’ve only been at the chateau for five years. they seem to be studious & focused, but also superstitious & vindictive. it’s cool that they’re capable of shadow manipulation and necromancy!
hello everyone ! i’m jay and this here is my lil witch macario. he’s a part of a triplet set of witches in the chateau and his about page can be found here! there are a couple of bullet points below
