Shipping wars and people that make Rules about shipping (Anti-shipper / ProShipper debate). "Don't like? Don't look." If it's not harming anybody specifically people can do with their ships and fantasy what they want. It’s tiring to see people waste their energy on things that probably won’t change anything and just harass someone. I'm honestly tired of shipping debates.
Whatttt is with the tendency of Tumblr users to seek absolution from every single person who offhandedly posts about disagreeing with something they do
I say this not unkindly, but firmly: to function as a member of a social species, you have to get comfortable with the idea that not everyone will like you
Just have that idea how Shinjuro never admit that Kurages sushi is outstanding delicious. Always eat his food without any reaction.
Kurage observes his guests when they try his food, because he loves seeing them enjoy his dishes. It warms his heart when he sees the sparkle in his guests eyes.
But Shinjuro....oooh Shinjuro. Playing hard to impress aye?
His unenthusiastically behavior tickles Kurage to prove a point.
Nobody....really nobody leaves his restaurant unsatisfied. So he challenges Shinjuro to serve him one of his masterpieces with a promise that he will break down his cool once and for all.
But for that he needs preparation.
Kurage, the man he is, goes out to the ocean. Fishing his ingredients all by himself. Preparing all the spices and sauces until Shinjuro return, with a smug smile on his lips. Ready to put Kurage on his place.
Sushi man serves him the plate and watches Shinjuro take one single bite.
Chewing it without breaking eye contact.
And Kurage observes how Shinjuro freeze and all the unique tastes go into action. Pupils widen, his hand shivers so hard that the chopsticks fall down and one single tear escapes his fiery eye.
Shinjuro feels the full force of Kurages masterpiece.
And all Kurage does.
Is smiling.
He is the winner. Watching how Shinjuro digs in with gusto.
I love artfight so much not because I get art for free (even it's nice nonetheless) but it really strokes my ego when people love what I drew for their oc's and comment on it.
Let's admit it
After Otsuyu saw Genya normally interact with Tanjiro and Nezuko, she assumes that she must've annoyed him with her approaches and honestly feels terrible.
She doesn't feel like talking to Sameko or Tengen will make her feel better, since both are associated with the band - Tengen even the lead singer and she KNOWS he'll take matters into his own hands...
So before she knows where to go, she meets Aizetsu again and... His openness makes her spill the beans.
"AND THEN IT GETS NASTY!!"
Tengen already paints the picture to Genya. He doesn't approve of Otsuyu going with Aizetsu, but he gotta nudge the shy band member to action. Will it help? Won't it help??
(Tengen in this AU is Otsuyus childhood friend - like a big brother - but he ran away from home when he was 15. They only met again when she's 20 and he's 26 while he's on stage. definitely have to give their friendship their spotlight. There will be much screaming and bickering - they deeply care for each other)
Rei lived in a small village in a forest with her sick mother. She spent her time doing errands, taking care of her mother and providing her with medicine from the local doctor. It was a tough, but peaceful life. Until one night, the village was under attack by demons. Both Rei and her mother survived the attack in hiding, but with most of the villagers killed, including the local doctor, her mother was cut off from her medicine, which eventually led to her passing away. Rei mourned her mother, unable to move out from the village. The next day, the demons returned and attacked the village again, what was left of it. At that moment, Rei was kneeling in front of her mother's grave when a demon attacked her, scarring her eye. Rei was at risk of dying until a Hashira swooped in to save her, killing all the demons. Inspired by the Hashira, she wanted to become a swordsman like them to avenge her mother and save people threatened by demons.
With her village destroyed, Rei had to move out and live in a neighbouring village. There, she found a dojo which she wanted to join, to train and become stronger. However, they rejected her because she was a girl. Regardless, she trained in secret, peeking through the fence of the dojo, trying to copy their training regime. One day, someone spotted her and asked her what she was doing. At first, she was hesitant to answer thinking she'd be ridiculed again, but the stranger encouraged her to answer wondering what made her resolve so strong. When she answer him, this is when he revealed to be a Wind Breathing Cultivator from the Demon Slayer Corps. He offered her, but also challenged her, to undergo his training if she is capable of becoming a swordswoman as she claims.
After a year of training, her talent shined through and she learnt Wind Breathing, bringing her to pass the Final Selection and officially joining the Demon Slayer Crops.

Her mentor is Sanemi Shinazugawa. She is his student, not his tsuguko.
Overtime, she develops a crush on Genya Shinazugawa.
She likes to do sumi-e ink painting in her free time, but she keeps it a secret.
i think bc i drew them so often for so long (comic ran for like 7 years), the monsterpop kids are still the easiest and most natural thing for me to draw, even now years after the comic ended
