Reblogging because “it would look like freakin’ Tron out there” And you could probably have the sidewalks light up in dark areas of town so no one would have to be scared to walk home.
When Cats Forget How to Cat (Part 2) Previously: Part 1
I think about this every time I watch a superhero movie….
This movie is one of the best disney movies of all time

#wait why would an Inca man imagine his morality with christian figures and theological concepts? (via charlesoberonn)
This is a movie about a man turning into a llama and this is what you question.
The best kind of relationship is the kind where you two just cant not be touching or near each other. There’s no real boundary between their body and yours, you just need them close as much as you need your body attached.
Shit
are you even trying
So if you didn’t know it turns out I’ve misread the graphic up there.
Now please be nice and don’t insult others when sending messages blahblahblahblahblah alright. TL;DR it’s been pointed out that I have indeed, carelessly mistook calories for grams.
But let’s look back for a second, the main debate is whether broccoli or beef contains a higher protein density. But since it seems that a lot of Tumblrenearians (I’m not an English student) are unhappy with my incorrect use of grams, let’s do it in calories.
Previously, you saw protein per gram of food.
Now, we’ll calculate protein per calories in food.
Well, let’s ask Google, which cites right from the USDA:
Hm, alright. So in a 250 calorie piece of beef there’s 26 grams of protein. That’s just over around 1 gram of protein per 9 or 10 calories.
Let’s check out broccoli!
SHIT, DECIMAL PLACES, AAUGH
34 calories divided by 2.8 grams makes around…1 gram of protein per 12 calories.
Huh. So maybe I was right after all.
If you don’t understand, here’s the answers written out in plain English.
To eat 10 grams of protein from meat, you will consume approximately 90-100 calories along with it.
To eat 10 grams of protein from broccoli, you will consume approximately 120 calories along with it.
So no, broccoli does not have a higher protein density than beef, gram-by-gram or calorie-by-calorie.
But you know what since I’m Kav and I’m a “bloodmouth” piece of shit how about we go back to my grams research. Let’s talk practicality.
Refer to the last picture, showing 2.8 grams of protein per 100 grams. So in order to reach the 10g protein figure I talk about, you’ll have to consume…approximately 300 to 400 grams of broccoli. That’s like two heads of broccoli.
What about beef? 26 grams of protein per 100 grams…hey! That’s not bad. To eat 10g of protein you only need to eat just over 38 grams of beef. That’s less than the mass of a golf ball.
So, no, sorry, although I will acknowledge I was incorrect on the graphics use of calories instead of grams…my point still stands: Broccoli does not contain more protein per calorie or per gram, than beef.
Think straight. Stay omni.
