You are so amazing at capturing the likeness of people on your drawings! Do you have any advice regarding that?

you have to compare face features between each other all the time

how close the mouth is to the nose, how wide the nose is compared to the width of the space between the eyes etc etc

it helps to break the face into basic shapes, getting rid of unnecessary details

what i personally struggle with the most is when a person's face is narrower at the forehead and wider at the jaw, this is the type of face i usually cant get right

if i was to give an advice for people like me - you should really pay attention to the face shape, its like 50% of the success you can spend the whole time refining all of the tiny details on the face with precision and it will still look nothing like the person if the face shape doesnt match

and don't be scared of big features! some people have big noses, some have really wide jaws, you shouldnt be afraid to actually make them big in order to get the likeness right
