Jerry stared down at the thing in his living room. It was fairly normal to see weird little aliens around the house. Hell, half the town was used to seeing their antics since Rick moved in.
"Hi... are you uh... a friend of Morty's" he asked, "he's at school right now. Unless Rick took him off somewhere- aaand if you're a friend of Ricks he is also not here right now."
Witch, probably meant that Rick had taken Morty on some kind of adventure.
⏩ "Actually, I'm robbing your house. I'M STEALING ALL YOUR COIN COLLECTIONS!" She wiggles her fingers menacingly before laughing.
⏩ "Nah, I'm just kiddin. I know both those dudes, but I thought I'd peek around your house. That cool?" Wtf Vel. "You got anything to eat? I'm starving."

"VELOCITY! Just the hedgehog I wanted to see! I need you to help me test something out. I have a customer that wants me to build a motion tracking gun for his security system and I need to test how fast it can actually track things. If you're really worried about getting hit I can load it with blanks."
Never mind why his client wanted actual bullets instead of something more high tech. Money was money and Rick wasn't in the field of questioning why people wanted what they want.

⠀⠀⠀The emerald king hand been making his way through the very same house of mirrors that the blue hedgehog was traversing, each reflection of himself only spurring his disdain for his own face. The face of that blue bastard, who had everything Scourge felt that he deserved. His brow furrowed, shades pulled down over his eyes to help shield them from his own visage. He growled as he walked, only getting angrier as he seemed to be getting lost. ⠀⠀⠀A solid thunk as he walked into a sheet of glass, anger taking over as Scourge's fist ripped through the invisible wall, shards of glass scattering all about the reflective floor. He scowled down at them through narrowed eyes, before continuing to make his way through this damn maze. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀It wasn't long before his attention was taken by a particularly odd reflection-- it was true that he often saw Sonic in his visage, but this was taking things a bit too far. Actually seeing Sonic for real caused his brow to furrow even deeper behind the crimson shades, only softening when he realised the reflection wasn't mirroring his movements. ⠀⠀⠀In fact, the reflection wasn't Sonic at all-- not as far as Scourge was concerned, anyway. It was a female version of the blue blur, a smirk appearing on Scourge's muzzle as he realised the strange little coincidence hadn't even noticed him yet. ⠀⠀⠀Her voice cut through the air, and she had that annoyingly cocky tone Sonic often carried. Maybe she was more like him than the emerald hedgehog had first thought... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀"Calm down, babe," Scourge responded, allowing himself to be seen as he remained still behind a pane of glass, hands resting in his jacket pockets. "Ain't like I'm here to hurtcha. Ain't even sure how the hell I got here. Maybe you can shed some light on that, huh?" ⠀⠀⠀Scourge stepped closer to the glass, leaning towards it to get a better look at the blue hedgehog. ⠀⠀⠀"Name's Scourge. Ya gotta name, beautiful?" Throwing flirting her way would probably make the other hedgehog lower her guard-- at least, that's what Scourge anticipated. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⏩ OKAY WELL. That was unexpected... A green version of her? Except... definitely NOT her. Anyone else would assume they were the same person, or at least related, but Velocity hadn't ever met him before.
⏩ And the way he spoke to her had her skin crawling. Velocity rolls her eyes, though not fully looking away from him... can't be too careful with doppelgangers.
⏩ "Ew, comin' on a little strong there, ROMEO." Vel took a few steps closer, looking beyond the pane, "Well I know how I got here, I'm on my way to beat up ol' Eggfarts. But you? No idea! Jump through any strange looking RINGS lately?"
⏩ She's mostly looking at all of those scars on the other's body... hard to ignore them. "Uh, I'm VELOCITY. Fastest hero out here! You uh, lose a fight with a blender there, SCOURGE?"
