How to Take Control of Negative Emotions
1. Don’t take every thought and feeling seriously. Both of those tend to be patterned and habitual. Thus, they are not necessarily accurate and reliable.
2. Don’t blow small things out of proportion. Take control of your thinking and keep things in perspective. Don’t allow yourself to dwell on the negatives, or critical thoughts.
3. Accept that we’re all hit by negative emotions. It’s a fact of life – and is unavoidable.
4. Work on strategies that work for you, and that help distract you from the way you feel.
5. Deliberately think about more positive things – like what is going well, or the things you’re thankful for – then shrug your shoulders and move on with your day.
6. Notice your triggers – the things that bother you, attack your self esteem and your self confidence – so you recognise the patterns and can plan how best to cope.

Good morning, you know what’s fucked up? All the white people who secured jobs and careers and financial security and in some cases, the beginning of generational wealth for going viral or doing the stupidest shit meanwhile I know amazing creators and creatives of Color who shaped entire social platforms and the internet who get yelled at for posting their PayPal so that people could MAYBE tip them for their work.
That’s actually fucked up.
Once you stop trying to entertain this imaginary audience and start living for yourself things should get a bit better
I am convinced that different people bring out different sides of you
i’m the only thing preventing the mailman and the vacuum from killing my entire family
this was such a confusing and frightening post before i read the name of the blog that posted it
Something important to point out- I'm assuming this man is from Canada since he mentions SIU Ontario. This is not a US only problem. We need to defund police everywhere. I've seen similar stories from other people. This is not an isolated problem
Update cause I found this thread on twitter:
Read this whole thing
The whole system is crooked everywhere
The only problematic thing with e-books is that after I’ve finished them I can’t put them on my trophy shelf, like a serial killer.
