someone was destashing a wool bundle at a very good price so I grabbed it but I lucked (locked haha) out because I didn't realize the wool was actually mostly dyed locks? and I'm torn between using them individually/blending them in with the scrappy/texturey yarns or spinning them on their own (to try out lockspun yarn!)
and then the third option is to kinda just sit and stare at them because of the gorgeous colors :'D (unfortunately don't know who dyed them)
here's the lockspun yarn :'D one third of it looks more normal and then started to get the hang of it/was more the look I wanted (at first was spinning the locks one by one but then I tried spinning from a little pile of fluffed up locks which worked out better)
also the texture is niceeee (there was some lanolin since they're locks? didn't mind it because it just feels like you've been working with oil pastels for a while/that residue feeling haha and it doesn't feel like that after washing)
