The baritone of the crimson cloaked man suddenly broke the silence that hung over the small group that seemed to have assembled around him, causing all of them to shrink back in surprise at his sudden awakening. 

The rose haired warrior , who had her head pressed against his chest was equally as so, jumping to her feet and stared at him in surprise. Not that he truly cared, he just needed her to get off. With a grunt, Vincent rose to his feet, dusting off his cloak and clothes before he finally cast his gaze to the cast before him…

Odd…they all contrasted from one another vastly…some wore armor of an almost medieval time period…some wore more modern clothing…one boy had pretty much no shirt on…where the hell was he?

Whether or not he was joking was another matter…however, Vincent too wondered if there was anything left to hear after so many years of locking his once mortal heart away in a prison of diamond he had made for it…also for the fact that he was currently lying on the bed of the WRO infirmary was also a reason why Cloud could be checking for a heartbeat. 

Gently pushing Cloud’s golden head away from his chest, the former Turk rose from his position with a heavy grunt as his side protested the sudden movement…gods he’s an old fucking man. 

With that thought, Vincent rested back against the bed frame, closing his crimson hues for a moment, collecting his breathing from the sudden rush of pain and trying to get his bearings once more…

Time always did seem to flow differently when one is in a hospital and unconscious for that matter.
