Thinking about how much Gyrus has in common with his mother despite everything.

They’re both leaders. They both understand the importance of connecting with the people they lead, and staying grounded. Amelia disguising herself as a knight, doing whatever she can to help Tori’s village etc, and Gyrus refusing to become masiosare because prioritises caring about other people over raw power.

They both feel guilty for everything, or like it’s their duty to suffer. Amelia’s the queen, it’s her job. She needs to fix this curse even though she didn’t cause it. Gyrus made the room of swords, his future self is the warden, he needs to fix masiosare’s bs.

They’re both self-sacrificing. Gyrus willingly put himself in the evil torture prison to stop Don and Amelia sacrificed so many things to don to stop the “curse”.

They can never rest. Gyrus has the opportunity to stay in kodya’s time period, and live happily ever after, but he chose to go back to the VSC and keep fighting Don. Amelia never gave up either, kept searching for her son no matter how much time passed.

They’re literally so similar Tori crushed on both of them 😭😭😭😭😭
