I always love the idea of jondami AU where Dami have a hard time to express his feelings. But he always loved Arabic Poetry. So the word ‘I love you’ is too shallow to him, that he refuse to say it to Jon even when they started dating. Jon thinks Damian is only dating him out of pity and to avoid making things awkward between them—little does he know that Damian secretly writes poems about him in his diary almost everyday...
And to make it more dramatic, the diary written in arabic, and Jon only realized the contents is about him when he gets bits of arabics such as ‘moon’ or ‘my heart’ from Damian and he recognized the words written alongside his name eventhough he doesn’t understand the rest...
