Ready to dive into some wonderful wacky crack fic starring Steve and Tony? Participate in our low stakes summer event!

Welcome to the 2025 Far Out Fanwork Fest, our laid back silly fun summer wacky prompt fest for Steve/Tony crack fic.

Far Out Fanwork Fest is all about crack fic so submit those crazy ideas for fanwork — everything from mothmen to "what if they were slime molds" to life as action figures to "would you love me if I were a worm" ideas! Anything goes! As long as it's silly, funny, weird, crazy and fun!

Participating is easy — submit a prompt, claim a prompt, create a fanwork for that prompt, and post!

SCHEDULE:

July 15 — Collection open for prompt submission and for claiming prompts

Sept 20 — Prompts submission closed

Sept 30 — Final date for fanwork submission

October — Masterlist posted

To participate in the event, you must be 18 or older.

You must also have an Archive of Our Own (AO3) account, which will be used for the prompt submission and posting.

Participation Requirements:

All works must have a Steve/Tony (or Steve and Tony) relationship as the primary relationship.

Prompts will be anonymously listed in the Far Out Fanwork Collection.

Eligible prompts fills must be at least a story of 500 words minimum or a full-realized sketch.

You know I'm back to tumblr and possibly back on my bullshit when I start inundating my side blog @starspangledprince with reblogs lmao Life's been a fucking rollercoaster lately. I'm so tired and so scared and so tired of being scared. And I've been two three ER visits and one urgent care visit in the past 10 days. Not for me, but for my wife. It's just been... Fucking crazy, frankly. I am slightly back on my bullshit as far as Stony goes, tho. Tentatively started writing a prequel to my werewolf!Steve fic. Keep saving reference and inspo pictures to eventually draw more of them. Though, admittedly, my current priority is a lot more wrapped up in my OC Vance, my wife's OC Nikolas, and the cyberpunky world they are in lmao But, I'd be lying if Steve and Tony aren't a lingering thought in the back of my mind.

At the same time, it's been almost a year(??) since I last drew them or wrote anything about them. And, like I'm entering the fandom for the first time all over again, I'm very shy and scared lmao Still, there will be something on the horizon eventually. Once I'm not spending every day off in some kind of ER/Urgent Care, and I have the energy to really buckle down.

Miss talking to you guys, tho. But, I'm also too shy to show my face again in the POTS discord server lmao

For anyone wondering, yeah, I'm probably gonna join StonyLovesSteve again this year. I may be taking a bit of a mental break with them (gotta make space to think about my OCs and personal projects too!) but I do still adore them 100%

Plus it's just fun to do something for another person. I just hope it's not another year where I never hear from the person I do something for 😂😭 Like, I dig getting busy, but I can't help but worry that last year's animation just wasn't something my recipient enjoyed.

Probably overthinking it tho.

Stony Loves Steve 2025

Hello, Everyone! Stony Loves Steve is back for another year!

We’re back again to celebrate Steve’s birthday, July 4th, with Stony Loves Steve! This is a Steve/Tony gift exchange where participants create and receive Steve-centric fanworks.

There are plenty of wonderful creations based on Tony, and that’s awesome!. For this exchange, however, we’re choosing to focus on Steve. We hope to see more works exploring him and his side of his relationship with Tony across the Marvel multiverse, whether that relationship is slash or friendship.

Sign-ups will open on April 13th and run until April 27th. Additional scheduling info here.
