what I would give for someone to write or draw Shane as a toddler playing with a kid hockey set. his mother is a hockey fan and his dad went as far as playing for his alma mater. baby Shane had his own hockey set!!! Yuna and David were crouching to baby Shane’s height to help him maneuver the stick. bonus thought: Yuna & David observing Shane & Ilya with their own kids doing the same thing. Shane behind the kid holding his hand on top of theirs on a short stick (plastic or whatever else idk) while Ilya is the goalie. he pretends to suck at keeping the puck out of the net, allowing Shane and their baby to score, maybe dramatically crying from losing to them. the grandparents cheering them on in the background. Lots of hollanov toddler giggles and cheek kisses from both their daddy and papa 🥹

I adore when fanfic authors write that there was a moment Shane clicked with hockey and wanted to do that when he got older but what if he was exposed to it so early he doesn’t even remember when he started being interested. for him hockey was always there.

For two rookies and a veteran, it also turned out to be a star-maker.

Couple thoughts on the episode:

1. Hudson’s shoulder to waist ratio is tea. I hope he plays a superhero at least once

2. Domhnall Gleeson lookalike (car song sketch)

3. I’m sorry but the office fit was reminding me of SpongeBob (I’ll have to remember to link the edit here. Love that edit sm). He looked so pretty 🙂‍↔️

4. Him in the leg sketch reminded me of someone I went to school with and now I can’t unsee their differences esp since the guy also got buff like Connor since we graduated hs 💔
