Yo, seriously, people just throw the word poser around without any hesitation whatsoever. Come on, man, you're not cool for calling someone a poser, especially when you try so hard to fit in with the metal community that THEY exactly want to look like a 'real metalhead' fan. Genuinely, most of them can't even acknowledge what poser actually means, and now they just call everyone poser at this point.
