OOC/context: howdy gang, faun here. this is an ask/rp blog set in my fic/au of the tua comics, tales from oblivion! that au centers around a world where the white violin got tossed into oblivion following apocalypse suite, and the fallout afterward (featuring a cult, slow burn friendship, and emotional support idiots). doing this as a fun side project for the au in between work on DT and other stuff :) i have a few ocs running around in this one, so it may be a bit confusing who's who. so far we have:
tate, ex-verdammten member and human golden retriever, tsarina, resident wild child and explosion enthusiast, nadia, medic who desperately needs to start getting paid for all she's doing, gabe, former juvenile delinquent, and everyone's favorite world-ender, the white violin. if you have a question for anyone in particular, feel free to ask for them :)
aside from all that, you can read the fic this is all based on here, though i do strongly suggest you heed the tags and additional warnings. tales isn't pure sunshine and rainbows (even if tate is trying to see it that way). since we're working in comic canon, things will be a bit different, but i'll more than likely reference show canon lol.
for wv or whoever else knows the answer and is willing to answer: i saw on another post that wv entered oblivion on april 3. the concert was on april 1. what happened in those 2 days? hospital? interrogation? smth else?

what is your favourite movie/tv show/book and why? and do you keep up with the new stuff in oblivion?
Answering one of these for the first time, since Tate was really excited about it. Have to be honest (and why not, really) but one of my guilty pleasures before the big move was western films. I used to watch a bunch of the classics with my nephews. My favorite is probably The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, as cliche as that is. Gabe would never admit it (and don't tell him I told you), but his favorite is Casablanca.

i got here on april 1st yeah. nadia says she got here six years ago, and gabe just said that it was a thursday. tsarina threw a can at my head and i don't know what it means but i figured i should tell you :D
Boss didn't get here on april 1st though. not sure where you got that one from, but that's okay!! it was actually april 3rd :)
do you all get clothes in there? or are you just in your outfits in which you were jailed? do you have prison uniforms? or maybe permanent performance clothes if you're in the orchestra?

most of the time, you have the clothes that you showed up in and that's it. if you scavenge, you can find the stuff that other people left behind, though! the good news is that there's a laundry room and the machines work without money :D
boss gets new clothes, though, but that makes sense.
