With a shoulder brace and some painkillers, I should be able to draw again. I’ve accepted that this comes with having loose joints, and it’ll never “fully” heal or work like it did in the past.

I’ll bug my PCP about it, though. Maybe learn a thing or two about care for loose joints.

I’m going absolutely bonkers in my enclosure, so I’m trying to draw again. The pain isn’t as intense as it was earlier in the month, and this includes breaks and proper habits and posturing.

Some advice out there says it usually takes about a month for a very minor rotator cuff injury to heal. I don’t wanna get my hopes up since my mom’s side of the family has joint integrity problems, but we’ll see how I’m hanging when May rolls around.

I wound up with a rotator cuff injury, likely a partial tear. It’s not severe enough to call for surgery (yet), but I’ll be taking a break from drawing until it recovers.
