big news today, those monsters that were sent to alphys a while ago have been, well, ‘found’. apparently some of them melted together and she couldn’t bring herself to share.

there’s also a new opening for the royal scientist. seems the empress doesn’t feel her new girlfriend should continue. doesn’t think she can handle the pressure of it anymore. she’s allowed to be an assistant to whoever gets hired though.

oh, yeah. apparently it’s a happy accident. we were just meant to be normal skeleton monsters. i guess things weren’t working with just one monsters magic. it is pretty helpful though, especially when we had to teach veritas how to walk again. or when she wanders off, and we have to track her down to make sure she’s ok.

Who is bob?

bob is the one ‘odd’ temmie. they’re usually in temmie village so they were easy to find. always seems to know where their caretaker is too. which is great because they are one of only monsters who not only studies old unused magic, but has the power to use it.

her throat is finally good enough for us to figure out her font. seems her new name is magna veritas. her old name actually seems to make her uncomfortable. probably because she seems to have forgotten most of the past.

Hello question would you prefer coffee, tea, or soda? and if any of them which kind? which is your least liked?

i’ve been letting this sit for a bit so we could all answer it, i’ll drink most anything.

our new friend doesn’t seem to like coffee or most teas. she’s only actually drank a catnip one, the rest she took a sip of and stopped. but she does seem to like soda. stuff like orange soda and mountain dew seem to be her preferences. no root beers though.

I DON’T DRINK MUCH CAFFEINE, BUT SOMETIMES A NICE TEA HELPS AFTER A LONG DAY OF PRACTICING BATTLE MOVES. I LIKE CHAMOMILE AND GOLDEN FLOWER TEA THE MOST.

Undyne just officially changed her title to empress, says it’s cooler. she also made it mandatory for every monsters to take a test to see how good they are at fighting.

so Undyne ordered a full evacuation of the ruins. everyone left alive was tracked down and forced to leave. i had to help get all the spiders out since they wouldn’t be able to handle the cold. we also found more dust, though most had already been gathered by surviving family.

(More updates soon but I got Undertale finally and I’m doing a true pacifist run. Already did a run to mimic what happened here. For research purposes. So now I’m gonna learn all I can about the characters through a true pacifist and lots and lots of phone calls)

Why would you two be taking care of her? Surely there are plenty of other monsters more suited to raising a traumatized child?

we’re the only two other skeletons. it’s best for a monster to be raised by similar monsters since different races work differently. before she was classified as a beast type monster, though we know that wasn’t exactly true now. so it was no problem for her to be adopted by the dogs, since they’re also beast types. now she’s the most rare type of monster there is, so there’s not really much choice. besides, undyne knows we won’t be terrible caregivers. plus I knew we’d have to raise her as soon as I brought her to bob.

so, undyne just called me, asking about the cat. seems she saw pap helping her learn to walk. i told her everything i knew. she took a deep breathe when I was done, said we better take good care of her, and hung up.

SANS TOLD ME HE FOUND AN ORPHANED SKELETON. APPARENTLY SHE DOESNT REMEMBER ANYTHING BUT SHE’S PRETTY SAD. I BROUGHT HER WITH ME TO WORK TO TRY TO CHEER HER UP. SHE’S NOT VERY GOOD AT WALKING SO I’M GIVING HER TIPS, I WON’T BE ABLE TO BLOG WHILE I’M HELPING HER, I’D BE FAR TOO LIKELY TO CRUSH THE PHONE IN THAT FORM. I ALSO GAVE HER MY OLD SCARF, WITH THE CAPE PART CUT OFF. SHE DOESN’T SEEM TO LIKE HAVING HER NECK EXPOSED, OR ANYTHING SWORD-LIKE.

she woke up, all she’s doing right now is crying and shivering. didn’t really know what to do so I just put my jacket over her. seems to have at least calmed the shivering a bit.

So what did you do with the dust you collected?

OH! WELL MOST OF IT WAS SENT TO WHATS LEFT OF THE ROYAL GUARD. THEY’LL HAVE IT TESTED TO FIGURE OUT WHICH DUST BELONGS TO WHICH MISSING MONSTER. SOME I WAS ABLE TO IDENTIFY BASED ON THEIR LEFTOVER ITEMS AND SMELL. ANY OF THOSE THAT STILL HAVE LIVING RELATIVES I GAVE TO THEIR FAMILY. THOSE WITHOUT ANY, WELL, THEY ALSO WENT TO THE GUARD SO THEY CAN FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO WITH THE DUST.
