Reports of strange events lead Erik and The Hunter to believe a new monster has arrived in the ice-shard cliffs, dangerous enough to warrant a quick investigation. Instead of a quick investigation, they find themselves together, alone, in an undiscovered cave system. There, The Hunter must learn just why he stays with Erik for every hunt and every mission, and come to terms with the problems he's been running away from for years.

If anyone is wondering what happened to me, it turns out my next fic is going to be Erik/Hunter (Monster Hunter Wilds). I tried to write for TFP and TF IDW but I just couldn't get a story to click for me.

So far, I am at 15k words. I planned for it to be shorter than my last long fic, but hopefully more improved.

It's set entirely in the Iceshard cliffs, where Erik and my OC (hunter) are stuck in a cave and trying to figure out what new mysterious monster is in the region.

No, this is not Erik/You. I have put a lot of effort into establishing my hunter as his own character and not a self insert.

Thinking about writing Megop Post IDW

(Heres what ive first written):

The old Megatron would have found his way out of this cell, even if it took rearranging his hand into a drill to do so.

Megatron, now, while sometimes he considers it, is contempt to stay in the isolated room forever. Where he will never hurt anyone ever again. Where he served a deserved sentence. Unlike his old self, no goal was left for him. He understood the cycle of evil and good that will forever plague Cybertron. Perhaps even all of life. Being out of this cell would never change that. He proved himself to do at least a few good things, and from those he could be happy.

He could be happy. So why wasn't he? Perhaps the millions of years of undying rage left a tarred, perpetual depression implanted on his processor.

Unless there still was a goal for him to complete.

I really wanted to continue my post TFP series, but Starscream is a serious challenge to write. I finished IDW and it wrecked my heart, I got to write something

So far my heart is set on on Starbee or Megop, both in an AU where the Unicron comics did not happen.

Summary:

“Are you telling me that you are merely suppressing your hatred of me or do you actually like me?” - “In order to destroy hate in the Universe, I have to finish what me and Megatron started.” - For the first time ever, Autobots and Decepticons teamed up. They need to take down Unicron: a threat to their homeworld. But killing Unicron dosent mean fighting like they were used to. No, instead, Optimus and Megatron must learn the reality of their war.

Or: Mostly a rewrite of the last episode in Transformers: Armada, but only in Megatron's and Optimus's POV. Because that all happened way too fast.

Rewrite of Amrada's last episode teaser

(SPOILERS AHEAD)

“Are you telling me that you are merely suppressing your hatred of me or do you actually like me?”

Megatron wore one of the largest smirks Optimus had ever seen on him. He acted as if he won a great battle, or won the war altogether, just with one sentence. 

“Admit it, Prime!” Megatron yelled, his smirk suddenly gone. 

Optimus clenched his fists. But he didn’t give up. He wouldn’t give in. Not for a second could he allow himself to become weakened by emotions.

“I am Optimus Prime. Leader of the Autobots. Emotions will never get in my way,” he stood just a little taller, glaring his newly red optics defiantly into Megatron’s. But yet the room around him felt a little more confined, more tense. Unicron’s walls were darker than before. The children and minicons behind him were in danger, and he could not allow them to get hurt. 

Megatron scoffed, “you never change, do you? Oh you can deny whatever it is all you want, Prime. But in your heart you know the real truth.”

Megatron’s smirk did not grow back.

The last episode really did a number on me. There was so much about the ending I loved, but also so much I imagined could be added and explained. And of course, I gotta use this perfect material for megop.

Also im calling him Megatron, the Galvatron thing made no sense lmao.

"I'm Not Megatron" first teaser

Megatronus stood tall above dozens of bodies, covered in blue shining from starlight. His red optics striked Starscream as the most brave he had ever seen. He raised up his claws, his only weapons apart from his blasters. And when he cried out his declaration for a revolution, Starscream knew it would be idiodic not to join in.

The entire population in the bleachers surrounding the arena joined in the war cry like they were ready to follow the mech into a battle. The entire structure vibrated with pounding pedes and anger. Starscream had a special seat above the general ones, where he could watch everything from high. In his chair, he rested blue forearms along the arm rests and kept his red torso high. On his mostly dark colored faceplate, he wore a wide smirk.

Vos will be behind Megatronus. Finally, he could get those annoying councilmen off his back. And perhaps he could even rise to rule the entirety of Cybertron. No lesser position would show everyone just how great the seekers were, and no more would the seekers be seen as weak! His army will stand tall, proud, and prosperous after this revolution. He can just see it within arms grasp!

Megatronus met his optics. Together, they shared a moment of relishment in their future victories before Starscream watched him leave his place in the area.

Millions of years later…

Starscream did not get a klik of recharge that night. Even sitting 50 meters from the recharging predacons could not ease the static running through his circuits. Closing his optics left him vulnerable. What if that predacon Skylynx decided to go through with his threat? What if the thin tall one, Riverwing, decided he looked tasty?

When the sun had risen and shiny orange colors painted the canyon, he took a large in-vent of the fresh air. The colors here were beautiful, despite the annoying green flying bugs all in his face. It would never compare to Vos. Vos was his kingdom; it was a masterpiece of towering structures of intriguing shapes and platforms perfect for his army of seekers. 

Starscream frowned. Even an army of predacons could not replace what he once had. But they will have to do. 

Vos’s shapes painted his mind. His city could have been there, right in front of him. He could have been in his grand tower again with seekers flying instead of these bugs.

Lots of plans for this fic. I hope I can make it better and longer than my last. This here is the begeining of chapter two.

Bots find their roles in a growing new society, trying to find happiness in post-war while new arrivals come home to live on reviving Cybertron. Smokescreen only ever trained to be a warrior or archivist, but with Knock Out and his colorful ideas and personality, Smokescreen finds post-war won’t be so bad. Except, enemies still lurk, and Smokescreen has to battle strange feelings the more he gets to know the red bot. And Knock Out, who tries a relationship with Swindle, can’t fight his mourning of Breakdown even when the answer to healing is right in front of him.

Teaser #8 for Real "Energetic Magnetism"

There was a warm feeling in his servo when Knock Out woke up that morning. When he fully came to consciousness, the first thing Knock Out saw was Smokescreen's dark-colored and blunt digits intertwined with his own. Not far away, the top of his helm was visible where it rested.

Knock Out closed his optics again, deciding to relish in these sensations for just a little longer. He heard Smokescreen’s vents push air out at a regular pace, and Knock Out’s inner workings loud within the silence of the morning. Knock Out shifted his claws on Smokescreen’s servo before he pulled away and stood up, away from the berth.

Smokescreen was flopped onto the floor and barely hanging onto the berth, with one leg folded and another stretched out in front of the doorway. Knock Out smiled, thinking of yesterday. [redacted], but it was unspeakably sweet of him to fall into stasis in such a position just so Knock Out could recharge well.

“Wakey wakey,” Knock Out adorned his usual humorous tone and tapped one of Smokescreen’s door wings. “Smokescreen, you must be sore.”

“Huh..?” His wing flicked from Knock Out's taps a couple of times while he attempted to get up. “Primus ow- my spinal strut,” he groaned in pain. Knock Out grabbed his elbow and helped the other stand.

THE FICTION IS DONE. About 29,200 words. Just some editing left to do. I'm exited to publish this on ao3 (and watch no one read it because it's smokeout lmao). I was obsessed with this every day for like a month.

Teaser #7 for "Real Magnetism"

Lockdown only yawned. “You know me, Swindle. I work wherever I'm paid.”

“I pay you specifically not to give away any information!” Swindle held out open servos to show the obvious fact.

“It was better pay than what you are going to give me this month. That is all.”

A few kliks were spent with Swindle’s furious facial plate glaring at Lockdown’s smile. 

“Then your pay will be reduced. 2500 credits only. Do this again, I will keep your pay low.”

“That is not a wise choice,” Lockdown’s optics darkened, but he didnt show his rage. On the outside, he may have appeared amused. On the inside, he felt like finally ripping the annoying smaller bot apart. It would be satisfying to snap his wires and watch his golden plating become stained with blue. 

“And why would that be?” Swindle finally calmed down, but he still held a scowl. Behind him, some vehicons were hauling boxes of energon cubes into the storage room. 

“You pay me that little, and I could move on.”

Teaser #6 for "Real Magnetism"

The door to the lab had opened. Probably Wheeljack. Without looking, Ratchet threw a tool at the mech who entered and focused his optics on one of Knock Out’s damaged wires. “Im busy,” he grumbled.

“Well well, who’s the new autobot in town?” An unfamiliar voice spoke back instead of Wheeljack. Confused, Ratchet turned to see who it was. The bot had striking red optics, even more red than Megatron’s. He had a mostly white and red coat of paint, and a spiky well toned frame. These types of Cybertronians were rare, or at least Ratchet hadn’t seen these types in a while. In one servo, he held the tool that Ratchet threw.

“Who are you?” Ratchet made himself appear unbothered by the other’s presence. But, as if he saw right through him, he smirked.

“Deadlock. ‘Was lookin for Wheeljack, but found this cutie instead,” he leaned down slightly, and Ratchet could’t suppress his blush.

“He’s out collecting scraps in the town hall,” Ratchet scoffed and turned away before the Decepticon could affect him more. This was like when he spent that solar cycle with Wheeljack all over again, and he wanted nothing to do with it.

Teaser #5 for "Real Magnetism"

“Smokescreen,” Knock Out’s expression turned back to normal. “You must watch some human shows with me. I’m sure you have no idea how entertaining it actually is.” Smokescreen tilted his helm and flicked his wings.

“I guess. What’s it like?” 

“Human media covers every emotion and every interest. Quite addicting, really,” The red bot turned and walked to his living room.

“Shouldn’t we go to work?” The golden blue bot followed behind Knock Out, despite his words. He had the odd urge to spin Knock Out’s wheels.

“You come all this way to make me go to work?” Knock Out sat down and waved for Smokescreen to sit next to him, throwing a leg over his other. “It’s our shop, we can close it for the solar cycle,” he spoke with a matter-of-fact tone. Smokescreen couldn't resist and leaped onto the couch with a large grin. The couch was 4 cushions long, but he chose the cushion right next to the red bot anyway. “What would you like?” Knock Out grinned. “Horror? Drama? Romance?”

Smokescreen tilted his helm: “What's romance?” 

“Oh, you want to find out?” Knock Out grinned further with narrowed optics.

Teaser #4 for "Real Magnetism"

As Smokescreen shot some more insecticons, new bots slammed into the battlefield. Smokescreens optics curiously scanned their new frames. One carried a large rifle, but his plating was all spiky, including while triangular plating on the side of his helm. His facial plates were a dark gray around red optics, and most of his body plating was black with some red and gold highlights. The bot smirked as he dodged an insecticon swing, who was previously fighting Bulkhead, then shot it’s shoulder. The energon bullet melted through the poor insect's outer plating as it screeched.

Another new bot was shooting at a nearby insecticon. His facial plate was white with black stripes, while the rest of his body was mostly green. Some of his body parts seemed to be implanted with frames and plating that were not originally his. To this bot’s right, a different bot had large barrels shooting up from his red and tanned shoulders. His large chest plate protruded gray sides with the decepticon signal on the left plate, and his pelvis was red that connected to his tanned legs. Smokescreen watched as he transformed into some sort of tank, but with two large barrels on each side. From what he could see, all these new bots were decepticons, yet they never shot at the autobots. They must of caught word that the war was over.

I take these characters from multiple different media of the franchise mainly because I have only recently got into it and I know some versions of characters but not all. There are so many characters I do not know much about like the combiners and such.

Teaser #3 for "Real Magnetism"

The welcome bell rang, preventing Knock Out the chance to respond. With it, a low toned cough called for their attention. Smokescreen turned around, ready to greet the new customer-

It was Megatron- Megatron?! 

Knock Out was left trying to process that an autobot just hugged him, and a former warlord, leader of the decepticons, was standing inside his shop. Smokescreen instantly took a battle stance after uncuffing himself, looking longingly to the cashier for his phase shifter.

The gray mech narrowed his optics at the two, his towering height almost too big for the space. “Well? You do paint jobs, do you not?”

A good portion of this fic will be (hopefully good) comedy.

I also want to make the world feel as alive as possible, that being characters come and go throughout Smokescreen and Knock Out's story that have their own thing going on.
