Yeah! Oh, gosh .. My room when I was younger could’ve probably been a shrine or museum of some sort for both of the lovely films, no exaggeration. I was — am, actually — absolutely in love with the The Little Mermaid franchise! There’s nothing better, in my opinion .. but, I definitely know how you feel, V. When I never grew some type of beautiful, magnificent tail, I was bed ridden for a couple of days just because of how devastated I was! It was the first life dream I ever had, and it was shattered within a fraction of a moment. Truly traumatizing, honestly — anyways, yeah, I agree with that, too .. To see the true, genuine smiles and bright eyes on someone after they’ve met you, or .. your character and whatnot, is something that’s both irreplaceable and indescribable. I wouldn’t trade it for anything, I don’t think .. Especially the memories I make and save for myself, y’know? It makes me happy to take the pictures and sign my name — Melody, but you get the idea — in the cute little autograph books .. It’s beautiful. Amazing. Lovely. I could go on about how nice it is for hours upon hours, honestly.
The Little Mermaid will always be the best Disney franchise in my opinion. I probably shouldn’t be saying that since I’m playing the face of another one, but what the kids don’t know won’t hurt them. Bless your heart, Viv; I remember being crushed myself, but I don’t think I was bed riddent. At least now you can say you have a theoretical tail, since Melody has one and you’re technically Melody. Making kids’s days is why I love my job. It’s the only reason I wanted the job, I mean, let’s face it --- the wig and the long sleeves aren’t exactly ideal under the circumstances, but making those kids happy is all I care about. You know, I never did get Melody’s autograph when I went to Disney as a kid, you’ll have to hook me up. I hear her autograph is quite lovely.
