Welcome back Biome folk to the final opening of Pokemon Biome!
Some of you may be wondering what is new and what has changed since our last updates, and we are excited to finally show what we have been working on! To start off, we will clarify why this is our final opening: as of now Pokemon Biome will be open to new member applications all year round!
With this ‘final opening’ we welcome all new applicants, and welcome back old members as well! Now, onto the updates, opening tips and FAQ to help you on your way. (Returning members, we suggest you read this too.)
Here it is– the sibling biome to the earlier previewed biome from the other week- can you guess which sort of biomes we’ve been working on?

Does Verot (particularly Tundra) receive auroras? If they do, are they rare/uncommon?
Yes, Tundra generally gets the best view while most other areas of Verot barely catch a glimpse (whether it’s because of distance, weather condition, etc.)
Auroras in the Tundra, as with auroras in the real world, can be seen fairly often, usually 1-3 times every two weeks (given there’s a clear sky that night)- however a character can only experience this to the fullest outside of cities and areas with bright lights.
Sorry if this is a silly question, does fishing count towards the hunting ban?
That is alright! This is copied and pasted from the answer given to another member on the group’s journal comments!
“The ban is meant to be any and all forms of hunting, that technically includes fishing though the form of obtaining meats and other Pokemon-based goods falls to approved farms and ranches located throughout Verot, same goes for fishing only it’s more on the lines of fish farming instead of ranching- as for Marsh and Swamp, many of Swamp tend to do so illegally still, and as we would imagine, a good amount of Verotians.”

Hi! Are comics (with their individual pages) handled as all one submission or smaller separate submissions? I feel like the answer is obvious, but I have been wrong before and would like to check before I tackle Chapter 1. ;;
Good question!
We’ve discussed this recently in the mod circle the past week. We will grade the comic series as one submission when it comes to tallying for bonus points and if you qualify for a prize for an event.
For example; Submitting five pages of a comic will be graded individually for points. The whole series itself will be considered one submission when it comes to events (and perhaps other) and prizes.
