{ ♕ } ‘’You… don’t have to say you do, if you don’t feel well.’’
She caressed his cheek for a moment and wondered if she should have said that. Obviously he wasn’t feeling that well even though he said so. But to her there is no need to lie. If he wishes to release his thoughts she would listen and support him. That is what a wife should do after all.
‘’That’s fine.’’
With another smile she let go of him. Though not fully, Kouha made sure to hold on his arm since something told her that she shouldn’t let go completely. Like this they could at least move. So the empress waited for her emperor to lead her to their chamber. Usually she got in bed when he was already there. Being too tired from work, therefore she usually didn’t bother him. It was important that he would be able to do his job well after all.
“I know.”
The truth was that he did not want to speak about it. Not yet atleast. For now he focused on being a better person than he was back then. Having lost Judar was still nagging on him but he knew that this was a risk the two of them took. The emperor did not hate Aladdin for what he did. Afterall he took someone important from him aswell. Holding her close the two of them slowly walked through the big hallways. It was quiet and just a few guards were on their posts greeting the emperor and the empress. When he saw it like that it felt like back then when everything was still alright. Opening the door for her he quietly closed it behind them. No servants were around. Just two guards patroling infront of their door.
“Have you heard from Aladdin lately?” he asked as he took off his robe and undid the tie in his hair as it fell into his face. Wiping away the hair he sat himself infront of the mirror to take a look at him. Everyday he saw the same face. A man who had everything but also lost everything. That is what he was now. If he wouldn’t have Kouha his life would probably have ended after the war. He wasn’t happy that was clear. Nobody would be happy after doing all these things. He got what he wanted but it didn’t feel like a great success. Letting out a soft sigh he stared into his own eyes before he closed them to lean back into the chair. “If you want to sleep let me know.”
