Being a mean girl is not and has never been a cute look. Going out of your way to appear spiteful towards people who haven’t done anything to you screams desperation and internalized low self-esteem. People who are truly secure on themselves and are happy with who they are don’t feel the need to look down or go out of the way to appear unfriendly to others for the sake of it. The trauma and experiences someone goes through doesn’t give them an excuse or leverage for their behavior as adults. Rudeness is classless, warmness emits grace.
