Forgive me if this is a tired question. I’m just, quite confused. How do you find that ability to shift inside yourself when you’ve never done it before? How do you trust so fully that it’ll work when things seem stacked against you, or you just can’t convince yourself you’re there when you’re looking at this world. I do believe shifting is real, I think a lot do. But it’s finding that inner power that seems so many struggle with. Especially consistently. Like, deciding one day you have the power to shift… and then not proving yourself that you can, and then getting discouraged. Nobody wants to be claiming to be able to shift for weeks, months, or years and not actually see results. Which is why I think a lot of people stop. Because even when we DO seem to fully believe in ourselves we aren’t seeing the same results other shifters have had, so of course our brain goes to “well obviously I did something wrong somehow.” How do you get out of this cycle? Is it just.. luck that one day it finally works?
i get it, i really do. i struggled with this exact loop for years. it took me 5 whole years to shift successfully.
so when you say it feels like you believe, and then you don’t see results, and then your brain goes “i must be doing something wrong,” i completely understand that spiral. trust me. i lived in that spiral for the past 5 years before i shifted last year.
but this is where the shift in understanding has to happen.
because the version of you that feels like they’re “failing” or “not getting results” is the ego. it’s tied to the 3d. it’s the part of you that measures, compares, waits for proof, and then judges based on what it sees.
but that’s not who you are at your core.
you are pure awareness.
and as awareness, there is nothing to prove and nothing to get right or wrong.
there is no “ability” you have to find or unlock.
because you’re not building something new, you’re recognising something that’s already there.
that’s why people say shifting is inherent.
you don’t learn how to be awareness. you already are it.
and awareness doesn’t operate on proof the way the 3d does.
it doesn’t need repeated success to confirm itself, and it doesn’t need evidence to exist.
so the cycle you’re talking about, deciding you can shift, not seeing it, getting discouraged, trying again, doubting again…
that cycle only exists when you keep identifying with the part of you that’s waiting for confirmation.
but if everything already exists within you, then your dr isn’t something you’re trying to reach.
it’s something that already is.
so it’s not about convincing yourself harder, or believing more intensely, or trying to “prove” it over time.
it’s about understanding that there is no failure here unless you decide there is.
because what would failure even mean in this context?
you can’t fail at being awareness, you can’t fail at something that is already happening.
and i know that sounds frustrating when you feel like you haven’t experienced it yet in the way you want.
but the moment you stop treating it like something distant that needs to be achieved, and start seeing it as something that is already within you.
that’s when that pressure starts to fall away.
it’s not luck, it’s not random, it’s just a shift in where you’re standing from.
from trying to get there to realising you already are.
and the reason i always emphasise figuring this out for yourself is because i can’t force my perception of reality onto you.
this is what i believe, and it’s what works for me. it’s built from everything i’ve learned, and more importantly, what i’ve personally realised.
for the longest time, i tried to copy other people’s understanding. i repeated their words, followed their methods, tried to make their perspective my own.
and it never worked. i always pretended like i understood, or that it “clicked” for me, but i always felt like an imposter.
what actually worked was when i stopped, chose what made sense to me, and committed to that.
it became mine.
and when i finally understood shifting through my own lens, that’s when everything clicked.
because those realisations weren’t borrowed anymore, they were mine. there wasn’t anybody else to ask, and nobody to tell me that i’m wrong. how can they when i made the rules?
so my most valuable advice will always be to trust yourself enough to arrive at your own understanding.
because the moment it becomes yours, it stops being something you’re chasing, and starts being something you know.

I'm just gonna leave this here because many of us need this...
I feel like my fyp is being filled with harmful Loa shifting takes and advice that’s just straight up wrong and contradicting. Nothing can stop you or hold you back from shifting/manifesting so i’m gonna do this as a reminder for myself and anyone else struggling that may see this
🌷You can be desperate and Still shift
🌷You can be in a negative headspace and still shift
🌷You can roll over mid method and still shift
🌷You can feel depressed and unmotivated and still shift
🌷You can have trouble fully believing in Shifting and still Shift
🌷You do not have to force yourself to ignore your current circumstances and emotions to Shift especially if you are dealing with disabilities, chronic illnesses, Abusive households etc
🌷Remind yourself that you can shift in any mindset because you can shifting is inevitable and nothing can hold you back from shifting
The most helpful Shifting advice you could ever give is to tell people to remind themselves that they can shift no matter what emotional state they are experiencing Whether that’s sadness, anger, desperation, demotivation, lack of confidence etc
I see a lot of Loa shifters on here spreading that certain negative emotional states can hold them back from shifting as well as trying to attach reasons as to why people haven’t shifted yet and it’s so contradictive harmful and limiting
The way I see it that’s just creating the assumption in people’s minds that if they are feeling desperate, unmotivated or any type of negative emotion then it’s gonna hold them back from shifting and they’re not gonna shift and that’s just gonna cause spiraling and cause people to surpress their negative emotions instead of acknowledging them and reminding themselves that it has no affect on their ability to shift
Law of Assumption can be a helpful tool to shift but i feel like a lot of law of assumption advice being given on here is just straight up contradictive harmful and actually over complicating things and it doesn’t keep people in mind who are dealing with sicknesses disabilities and depressing circumstances in this reality
The point of Law of assumption is that your assumptions create your reality so why would you want to instill the assumption in people or even yourself that natural human emotions/reactions can hold you back from shifting rather than the assumption that you can shift in any state and nothing can affect your ability to shift
But that’s just my opinion 🫡

Shifting tip:
When you are having trouble shifting, think deeply about if there is something you are looking forward/ dreading to do in your CR.
If that’s the case, I suggest waiting it out. EXAMPLE: I was stressed OUT about this huge(like the biggest of my whole school experience) test and when I would try to shift, all I could do was think about this huge thing happening HERE.
But after it was over, I closed my eyes and imagined all the stress and that string connecting me to this reality and this test withering away.
THEN: Center something like that in your DR. Maybe a big test, or you’re nervous for school to start soon, or your tournament for your sport is coming up. (Yes, when you get to your DR you will be doing that thing, but at least you will be IN YOUR DR)
And don’t script in the outcome, either. Let yourself feel the nervousness and uncertainty about the results. (IF it’s not like a dangerous something. Please keep yourself safe, people) (I’m looking at YOU Avengers shifters)
It’s a psychological thing. If anyone wants me to go more into it, I absolutely can.
PSA for shifting accounts (and all accounts alike): if someone (a mutual, a person who follows you, anyone at all) comes to your DMs and claims they've reported your account, and you need to contact a specific person off the platform, this is a scam.
do not engage with the account, and do not engage with the person you're told to contact. simply block the account and report. the account used to contact you was accessed the same way yours could be if you do: the person referred to off the platform asked for the account information to "fix the report" and hacked themselves in.
remember: no Tumblr representative will ask you to contact them off of official Tumblr channels.

Little shifting rant/realization sesh
I just read a scene in a book (one that I won’t say the name of because it’s very popular and I don’t wanna spoil it for anyone) where the main character snaps out of a state where she is somewhere she doesn’t want to be and then into a state she does want to be in by simply reassuring herself “it’s not real, i am where i want to be.”
This has given me some ideas on methods for shifting.
That state she was in could be another word for my cr. I can simply reassure myself “this isn’t real, I am in my dr” and I’ll be in my dr.
She also blocks out these doubts she has in said scene about reality by essentially going “nope, not happening, i’m right where i want to be” which honestly sparked something in my brain.
Maybe I’ll use this in my next shifting “attempt”. I honestly think it will work, and if not for me, then for someone else.
I’ve been applying this to negative thoughts i get throughout the day and it works very well.
I get a negative thought or memory and I just go “nope, not real” and boom, it’s gone.
Anyways yeah that book/series has helped me a lot in my shifting journey if i’m being honest which is funny cus it has nothing to do with shifting.
