At the California Trade Show students participated in various competitions, conducted sales for their company at their booth, and networked with students from 100 schools around California.
The trade show began with an opening from Nancy Phillips, the retired director of the Virtual Business program in California, giving her thanks to all the Virtual Business coordinators and administrators of various high schools. Bryce Sterling, a former Centennial Virtual Business student, spoke at the trade show about how virtual business helped him become successful in life. Other speakers such as Mr. Weiss, a college professor in New York, spoke of the immense benefits of being a part of Virtual Business.
In all, we had a lot of fun and time to explore other tradeshow booths and companies such as Ink (an art company), Block Party (a company that hosts parties), Cali Twist (a food company focused on typical California foods) and much more!
