Welcome to vespertide vixen! This is a mostly solo project headed by the one and only Fenri Foxwright, with cover art and some audio production work done by her wonderful spouse. The project primarily serves as an avenue of self-expression and experimentation as Fenri’s first foray into the world of music-making and songwriting. vespertide vixen is primarily focused on creating music as a form of moralistic storytelling* or emotional outlet that’s grounded in whatever sound most appeals to me at any given time. I tend to lean towards “dark and spooky”, but I also love doing weird audio stuff via analog electronics or hacked objects. Currently my instrumentation consists of my own voice, a hacked toy dog piano from a thrift store, two guitars (electric and acoustic), a homemade lo-fi sampler, and a metal slinky.
