random headcanon dump 001  /  ?

the only thing we know of wendy’s backstory is she used to have a fulfilling life until schicksal arrived to look for new valkyries. it’s true, wendy was a normal young woman with hopes and aspirations for a brighter future which is a beautiful irony considering how much she came to despise said future after losing everything. 

the reason wendy chose to carry the gem of desire was altruistic, really - nobody knew how to stabilize its’ power, many have died in vain attempts. seeing how differently it reacted to wendy, she herself chose to become an official subject to researches, for everyone’s sake. she thought of others, like a true valkyrie would. little did she knew the very implantation would forever ruin her.

wendy was born and grew up in new zealand for majority of her life. her parents had stable jobs and nurtured a decent relationship with their quiet but creative daughter, but were eventually killed during many honkai attacks after wendy’s joined schicksal.  

in few scenes we get of her, wendy seemingly got along well with bronya and even talked about having a chance to walk again. that is, of course, before the gem overtook her senses thus intensifying negative emotions burning in her. in normal circumstances, they would’ve been best friends. 

piggybacking on previous post, wendy seems to fight the gem’s urges when talking with other girls normally as humanely as possible but alas, the screams in her head can get too loud .... hence the insanity at the end. 

wendy’s theme seems to dwell around envy and jealousy, which makes sense considering how tragic her fate became. she hates everyone for having better destinies, hates the world for being cruel to her but most importantly, she hates herself for turning out the way she did.

wendy can sing really well! in fact, before joining forces, she would write little poems and sing them by herself. of course, after the gem was implanted, she long abandoned the hobby.

we don’t know her birth date nor zodiac, so i decided she’d be a gemini, born on june 8th. gemini is an air sign, representing different personalities and you will never know which one you’ll face.

what is music but means of escapade?  ever since corruption rotted one’s soul, wendy grown accustomed to screams accumulated from the cursed gem hence her ears long waxed of any sense. she thought gentle sounds of melodic breezes would never come to contact with her ... until today. the bard’s lyre stringing purity, a sensibility she long forgotten ... how come he’s capable of peace?   ❛ wow ... you play really nicely, mister. ❜  aquamarine eyes shine with exhaustion, hands gently clasped on knees. why can’t i have such gentleness, again...?!
