Boss 113: Equinox
Finally, that thing I promised months ago!
Having 2 bosses on both sides of you is something I've wanted to do for a long time, but it turned out to be really difficult to balance attacks like this across many difficulty levels. This battle is only level 11, so I didn't have to worry about making an easy version at all.
I also finally got to use the Warframe name that I originally meant for Duality. I can confirm that the level 12 special boss will also have a warframe name, but I wonder which one it will be?
Gloom and Invasions
All 112 bosses now have a Gloomy variant! I put these gloom walls into every battle, which can also rain extra bullets or create spike attacks depending on the boss. If the boss already had gloom walls, then I added more or made them worse in various different ways. They are uniquely tailored to every single boss, which was entirely too much work! What's done is done.
Speaking of too much work-
All 112 bosses can now be invaded by Wisp! Every boss can now become a multi battle, and just like all the other variants, the Wisp invader was designed to behave differently in every single battle.
So now there are 4 different variants: Wrathful, Repelling, Gloomy, and Invaded. So you might be wondering, can multiple of these activate at the same time? Now THAT would have been far too much work, so the first 3 are mutually exclusive variants. However, the little invader can appear during any other variant!

Most of the time this wouldn't cause any issue, but there were a lot of cases where I had to intentionally design specific combinations of variants. I'd change the placement of bubbles, walls, invaders, and even change some of the main monster's attacks to accommodate all the extra chaos. Overall you could say that every boss has 7 variants now!
Did somebody ask for 'The highest recorded HP total on a monster'? No? Just me?
Hello! I've enjoyed the elemental reactions to the monsters, but I have to ask, is it possible to add maybe a "Elemental Quartet" vatiant to the Quartet? Or would that be too difficult to code?

I was wondering if I dreamed it but I could have sworn there was a section with all the people that worked on the game and it said "credit" and I thought it rather hilarious. Alas, I can't find it anymore, hence my doubt it ever existed.
In any case, undying love for this masterpiece you are crafting.
That's not anywhere in the game, the credit screen only says "Created By" I have made this joke myself in various Twitch chats before, but it could have been posted somewhere by someone else.

At last, every single monster event is done! You can make friends with every one of my creatures! Unless I manage to scope creep another event in somehow. I make no promises about that.
This minigame has you matching cards to score points. The cards have other effects like adding and multiplying the score of future card matches. So the best way to get points is to try to set up chains that multiply your score.
It was inspired by what I think Balatro is... probably. I've only ever seen screenshots and short clips of that game, but I think I got the gist of it. Looks fun, but I'm not allowed to play it until my game is done. Naturally, I decided to try and create something similar without knowing anything about it. Hey, that worked for the bullet hell part of this game, and that's like the main thing! I've still barely played any of those either.
Volt Polyps
I've hit another milestone of 110 boss battles! That's right, eleventy whole boss battles in one game. The tradition continues of naming most of the special monsters after Warframes. I've updated the game with this new battle along with Shanx's event, but I'll make another post about that soon.
Hi, got a little question to shy scrambla, you need to break 50 of her spawn, do all of the little ones count aa spawn and how is this possible? Tried in quickplay and she always dies before I get 50. Is there like something I am not seeing? I am really confused^^"
It's a puzzle, everything is a spawn, but think about how the health of them add up
How do Zaraden reproduce? And unrelated question but are there any plans for the game to be on console?

I Can Fix Her
The latest event goes to Ventra! This is an alternate to Molten Veyeral's soup event. This time you are collecting electronic components instead of soup ingredients. This event's name is also one of my favorites. I hope people say it out loud every time it comes up.
It's always important to me that I reuse all the work I do at least one more time. The whole soup crafting system that I made for Molten Veyeral's event was reused again for this event. They even share a lot of the same minigames with some small variations.
The minigame shown here is based on the card matching game from Voltage Veyeral's event. This time, you get a short preview of all the "cards" so you can try to memorize as many as possible. Then you get a limited amount of "flips" to match as many pairs as you can. The ones marked with X don't do any harm, but they also don't give you anything if you match them. It's almost the same minigame as before, but with a completely different strategy and context.
We're down to the last 2 monster events! Only Shanx and Blizzard Veyeral remain!
I've been getting into TVRUHH lately and hqisow my goddd this game is so good it might be getting close to being one of my favourite games of all time
Voladrome's Vault Venture
Next up is Voladrome's bonding time event! Voladrome has found mysterious vaults in a tower that need keys to open. She can sense treasure, so she takes you to various locations where her senses detect the keys. Rather than the standard "mood" points that most bonding time events use, the minigames will grant you keys as you win. At the end of the event, each key you have will open 1 vault with a choice between 2 or 3 random gifts.
The connection between Guardians and hunting treasures actually came accidentally as I was planning all the events and each of their personalities. It started with Rendy and Snowball being given the dog-like traits of digging and burying objects. And just as the two mite Guardians share similar appearances and similar events, both of the worm Guardians were planned to have similar events. Sandrome and Voladrome would have visited different locations with different minigames to earn keys in. In the end, I combined both into a single event for Voladrome and gave Sandrome a Gift Delivery event instead.
I really wanted to reuse all the hard work I had done for Storm Veyeral's delivery event at least one more time. I could have given the other delivery event to Blizzard Veyeral, but I decided that having both deliveries be done by Veyerals would be less interesting, because their interactions with all the other monsters would overlap too much. I went with Sandrome because all the other remaining monsters already had very solid and unique plans for their events.
Only 3 events remain! Shanx, Ventra, and Blizzard Veyeral. Let's see if Shanx shares the Guardian love for treasure.
