Dr.VGM discussed the increasing incidence of this Liver disease and how clinicians should be wary and alert in identifying this liver disease at its early stage and discussed clinical strategies of management practised at VGM hospital based on International guidelines.

Lack of early identification leads to irreversible liver damage called cirrhosis, which needs liver transplant.

VGM Hospital conducted a Free Diabetes Detection and Awareness Camp on November 14th, World Diabetes Day at VGM Gastro Centre, Coimbatore.

Our Expert Consultant Diabetologist Dr. Venkatesh - D.DIAB, MRCP( ENDO & DIAB) (UK), DCED (UK) participated and provided free consultation, diet counseling and checked the blood glucose levels of all the participants. At the end of this event, a Free Diabetic health protein drink was distributed to all the 120 participants.
