A person in my LGS says "Magic is a "spoken" game" do u agree with this? I são that if a person doesn't want to tall they are free to not do, they only need tô communicate in someway their actions and consequences of it.

As long as a person can communicate the things they need to non-verbally, they do not need to talk.

I know this because I once had to make a ruling at the Unhinged prerelease (held at the So-Cal GenCon, when that was a thing).

I was called under a table by Pro Player Osyp Lebedowicz. Either he or his opponent had played Enter the Dungeon (it makes you play a subgame under the table).

Osyp had Goblin Mine (which sacrificed itself if you talked) and Mother of Goons (which made you sacrifice itself if you didn’t insult a creature whenever it died).

The question Osyp asked through pantomime was “was he forced to verbally insult the dying creature?” and I ruled no. Non-verbal communication was acceptable.
