I always try to capture a pose and the model in as few lines as possible, leaving the negative space to be a part of the shape.

It’s always a case of studying the movements, how the model moves, where they lead their movements from. For this one, I read the pose as being lead through the shoulder, the grounding was the bending and twisting in the legs. Everything in between are simple definitions.

A small hello from obscurity

After many years of having a login to tumblr, now is the time to actually post my art here! Most of them are from burlesque lifedrawing event here in Berlin, and maybe - just maybe - I’ll let this place be free flowing floaty chaos

Last life drawing session of the year with @sketcherei, this time online which meant the incomparable @conkuntion was our the model in a dark Christmas themed setup. There was. 10 minutes portrait pose, which for me is a) very long pose! and b) face?!
