It was of course meant to be a joke with the shippers taking it as such and even reblogging ironically every “Weenie Wednesday”. Over time, the fans of the vid have referred to Avdol as the “Weenie Wife” and Polnareff as the “Weenie Man” as said in the song’s lyrics.
