Tokyo Day 3, 2014

The third day was the most full and eventful day ^_^ We met Rebekah and Kento at the Hachiko statue in Shibuya, we planned to go to Asakusa too see the Senso-ji shrine, and then head to Harajuku to see the Meiji Jingu shrine.  It takes a little while to get there, but we got to sit down and enjoy the cool air con xD It was so busy when we got to Asakusa, we headed straight to Senso-ji so that we could look at all the traditional stalls outside the shrine. We brought quite a few gifts for our family and friends ^_^ There were a lot of traditional food and drink stalls (When we last visited Senso-Ji the stalls were closed) We had ice cold Green Tea which was so tasty and refreshing!! We all shared a few snacks me and Shaun got black sesame ice cream which is the best ice cream i have ever had i really enjoyed it a lot. We headed to look inside Senso-ji and the surrounding areas its so beautiful inside, it was nice to see the traditional paintings on the ceiling and all the different sections for prayers ^_^ I really wanted to do a fortune (みくじ) again on the first one i ever tried, i got a excellent fortune so i was excited to see what i would get this time :3 You donate a 5 Yen coin which is considered good luck, you then  pull out a stick from a silver box the, sick has kanji written on it  corresponds to one of the draws, which you take a fortune out of ^_^  I got a second excellent fortune :3 but i think Rebekkah got a bad one >< so she tied it to the metal wire with all the other bad fortunes so that the bad luck will stay on the wire instead with her ^_^

Before heading to Harajuku we decided to get some thing small to eat, because of the heat we didn't fancy much, Kento took us too a soba place to try something we hadn't before. It was so tasty and i have even made it at home quite often :) We headed straight from the Harajuku station too Meiji Jingu shrine,  we had been there before but it was nice to visit in the summer with friends, walking towards the shrine all you could hear was the Cicada which are so loud and so big O.O There were a lot of bits of information to read on the way and we also took a look at the Sake Barrels (かざりだる) which are used for decoration.  At Meiji Jingu we did a purifying ritual?!? done at shrines called てみずや. It was nice to look at all the 絵馬 which have prayers or wishes written on them which are then left hanging at the shrine for the gods (神) Thats the firs half of day one ^_^ I hope your enjoying my small trip so far I will upload the second part tomorrow  bye x

Tokyo Day 2, 2014

On our second day in Tokyo me and Shaun decided to go to Harajuku. We went down Takeshita Dori and down cat street, I love looking at the shops because i really enjoy the fashion, we also walked down to KiddyLand where we brought some presents for friends and had a look at all the cute characters. We decided to get lunch at 7/11 the food is such a good price and they have a lot to choose from, I always enjoy shopping in Harajuku. Later on in the evening we met up with Bekki and Kento at 109 (Ichi-maru-kyū) to do some girly shopping evening if Shaun and Kento weren't too thrilled :3 I thought i missed the sailor moon sale by a few days but by surprise they continued it on for a few more days. I brought a Liz Lisa sukapan and Bekki got a really cute  Funassyi hood from LDS xD We had a video recorder out on a selfie stick to get some good shots but there was suddenly a bad thunder storm, the lightning was so bad >~< so we decided to head for some food in coco curry (CoCo Ichibanya) which is next to forever 21, coco curry is one of my favourite places to eat in Tokyo, it was really nice to be able to see Bekki and get to know Kento and teach each other Japanese and English! When we paid i forgot to pick up my Liz Lisa bag so the Staff ran out to give it to me >.< so nice of her! To end the night we went and did some more Purikura ^_^

Whilst we were there we got give boiled egg and cabbage both on there own which were really good!

Tokyo day 1, 2014

So, in July of 2014 i went to Tokyo for five days with my boyfriend Shaun, while we visited Manila, this was our second trip to Tokyo and i was so excited to see my best friend who had moved away. We arrived just after lunch, we took the Nex straight to Shibuya, and a ton of memories came flooding back.

We stayed in Shibuya Tobu Hotel for the second time, its in a really convenient place and is pretty cheap too.

My friend Bekki and her boyfriend Kento met us at Shibuya tower records and we headed to the Rilakkuma themed cafe, i was so glad to get the chance to see it. I will talk about that in its own post ^_^ We shopped in Tower records and i bought a ton of Dempagumi.inc CD and Vinyl, they are my favourite Idol group.

We chose to walk to Shinjuku which was nice because we got to see a lot more than when you take the train, but it was extremely hot and humid, i really thought i might pass out >~< We stopped off to take some purikura which was so much fun to finally do with friends.  In Shinjuku we went too a Izakaya called Wataminchi (わたみんち） which was really nice beacuse i got to experiance something different. That was our first day in Tokyo, i will post more into detail about the Rilakkuma Cafe and wataminchi in the next post Thank you for reading ^-^ x

Hi, I just wanted to apologise for the lack of posts. I know I only just started. But I'm going through a close family member loss right now and I need to focus on that. Sneak Preview Here is just a small preview of some of the places we went too, for our second trip in to Tokyo, we only spent 5 days as we were taking time out from our time in Manila, but we still had an amazing time, and got to spend time with my friend. Ill be posting a full blog of our time in Tokyo very soon!!

When i was in tokyo I visited the Galaxxxy store. There was so much i wanted to buy, but i decided on the Hello kitty collab dress. It fits so nice and i can dress it up with a lot. I'am also wearing my platforms i got from LDS which are so comfy and are so cute!
