Lights got me on my toes 😍 . . . I joke a lot about @lights being my girl crush, but it’s for so many good reasons. I’ve looked up and admired her for what seems like forever. I actually remember being introduced to her music and was completely captured by her performance on like MTV Live sooooo many years ago. I quickly fell in love with how much she encouraged and welcomed being different and a little bit quirky. I remember thinking in that moment, “this is who I want to look up to”, and started to care less about worrying if people thought I did things in my own way. Her music hits hard in all the right places and for me, at all the right times growing up. She’s also inspired me to allow myself to be expressive through many different mediums of art. My heart has been so full watching her artistic style evolve with each album, fall in love, and bring into this world another crazy, wild, and innocent being. Not to mention, Lights is also totally a bae 🔥 (at Calgary Stampede)
