Hey! I think I made a sounding-themed fleshcraft thing maybe one or two years ago, but I tend to get back to old pics I’ve done after a while because I like the idea but don’t enjoy the pic anymore. It’s not on the top of my list, but definitely not against the idea.

And I’m terribly bummed by the fact that there aren’t more artworks of that skill being used. I’ve actually used that ability’s name to tag some of my fleshcraft stuff from time to time (”vicissitude”).

Not open for commission right now. It might change after the convention I’m attending to in December, though. Mind you, I usually only do themed commissions (like “this month’s rubber-themed commission only”, or “the next 5 commission slots are only for fleshcraft-themed stuff”), because I have a really hard time working on something if I’m not in the mood for it.

That’s the worst thing about fleshcrafters.
They can look like anything.
Some look like normal persons, some others are formless, gigantic piles of flesh. Most fleshcrafter have used that skill on themselves at some point, though, either because they felt like changing their appearance, sheer curiosity, or to practice once they felt comfortable enough to do so on their own body.
As for what they have to trade... well, it’s not some kind of “pact with the devil” magic. It mostly takes dedication, time, and not everyone can learn it despite this, you kind of nead to have it in your blood to begin with (which is why there aren’t armies of fleshcrafters to begin with). Also... well, it’s so dangerous that practicing on oneself would be asking for a bad ending, so most sorcerers willing to become fleshcrafters have to consciously decide to practice on living beings, which is already stepping on the bad side. :’p You could say becoming a fleshcrafter requires them to lose a part of their sanity/humanity because of that.
Fun fact, though: Fleshcrafting is technically a form of healing magic, which was originally intended to be used as a way to cure degenerative diseases, disabilities, or just straight-up helping people grow back lost limbs.
Good fleshcrafters still exist, but they’re not very common. Depending on where they live, they’re either killed on sight if people know they have that kind of ability, or seen as godlike figures (the fact that they can undo what the evil ones do also helps).
See my previous response, some fleshcrafter are willing to be good people and would be fine with consensual fleshcrafting, really.
As for people seeking them out... let’s just say nobody in their right mind would look for evil ones. Sure, there might be some oddballs willing to become a bad fleshcrafter’s guineapig, but they’re extremely rare.

Thanks! Right now, nope, but I’m slowly working on a sideblog with lore stuff about my universes and character. For the moment, it’s mostly just the little flavour texts or tidbits of lore I write along with some pics, and the responses to some of the asks I get.

I’m gonna be honest here, I’m not much into suffocation in general. The tape over the nose thing I’ve made with one of my mummification pics was mostly a little thing I made because why the hell not, but overall focusing a pic on suffocation just isn’t my cup of tea.
