At Gorge Metropark. I can't say I recommend a long training run here, but I think my ankles and quads can only be stronger now. I was out there a long time, between calling park rangers about a limping deer, and the parts of the trail that were essentially rock climbing.
It was a very pink sky tonight, and the evening had a rosy glow. This is the first video taken with my Fuji XF1 instead of the iPhone 5.
Had a great time with coworkers at Empress Taytu in Cleveland, sampling Ethiopian dishes. (7/19/13)
Driving back through Silver Creek after a late-evening 5 mile run. (7/18/13)
It will not stop raining! The park behind my office.
A long run on Towpath Trail in Barberton. Waters remain high.
I love Kasai.
The Andrea Rose Teodosio 5K. I set a personal best at 26:03, and the event raised $35,000 for the charity.
Italian Festival at Lock 3 in Akron. I don't completely understand why people like these events, but I go to pick up my packet for the Andrea Rose Teodosio 5K that will take place the next day. The bloomin' onions look good, but I resist.
The rain finally stops and I get my 9 new windows installed. The cats have the best couple days of their lives, before it gets too hot to have them all open.
The office is flooding and Sparky is lapping it up. It gets worse from here.
Rain outside the Mingo Pavilion at the SARC picnic. No grilling today, but pizza and side-dish potluck is good too.
Absolutely wonderful time at Ali and Lyalee's wedding. Feeling very lucky to be included and welcomed.
Had a wonderful time at The Book of Mormon in Cleveland, preceded by dinner at Alex's Bistro. A sampler cheese plate, crab and monkfish ravioli, and so much dancing of nerdy white boys and rude jokes.
Cardio Hike at Silver Creek, a stop to admire the old oak tree.
Toffee sits quietly, while my mom's new and modern "wet coral" accent wall makes its presence known in the background.
