A less convential spot to hang out in Vienna's famous Prater park is the lawn directly in front of the Vienna Riesenrad. It's a huge place perfect for a break outside, especially when you're living in the nearby 2nd district. Plus: it can be easily accessed publically through the Praterstern station, which also hosts a big Billa supermarket which can provide you with cheap picknick snacks and cold drinks when you're heading for the park. http://goo.gl/maps/Zfk0
