So, we have another one here for me to outrun in trials. The Entity was rather gracious. And a tall one, at that-- well, at the best a little taller than I am. Aren't you a treat.

The red devil gave a chuckle as he slowly approached the slightly smaller female. She was taunting him but he didn’t feel angry, he was amused if anything. This was quite the show for him to watch.. well rather than insulting her back, he thought to go for a different approach. “Well, I must admit. I’m quite impressed with your confidence and bravery, havent seen anything like it before!” He clapped his hands excitedly and tilted his head. “What’s your name? I’d love to get to know eachother. Wouldn’t you? Oh we could be friends!”

I adore nic so much you have no idea. Just the idea of Jed falling head over heels for a girl hard to get, or even we could do your au you were saying on discord. Kinda liking the idea of them bickering at eachother like an old married couple though..

I think this could actually be a very interesting dynamic, whether it be jed competing for her love or an alternate universe. I think it would very interesting either way, I’m wondering since Red is much nicer than sammys regular Jed,, how different would their relationship turn out? I think parralel universe would be.. so fun to plot for! @unwilling-survivor

“O-Oh. ...Um. Sure... He’s... well, he’s another killer here. And pretty into trying new methods. ...Sorry, but: you had a partner?”

“Ah.. Another killer here, I wasn’t quite expecting to see another like me. Well he isn’t entirely like me. It’s quite rude to assumes things of a man I’ve never met but this Jed seems like a very.. hm, how do I say this nicely. Well I don’t think we’d very much get along.” He gave a chuckle after he spoke, showing that despite his harsh words.. he had no hard feelings for the other Jed quite yet. In fact, he was rather excited to meet him. Whenever that time would come, he would be prepared for anything he would throw at him. It had been a long time since his last encounter with another ghostface, oh.. that’s right. He has to talk about the other ghostface he had partnered with.

“Ah. Where are my manners, I must have zoned out. Please do forgive me, it happens sometimes. So much going on in the head, am I right?” He grinned underneath the red devil mask and clapped his hands together excitedly. “Now.. to answer your question. I did have a partner, his name was Danny Johnson, I’m unsure if you’ve ever heard of him. I’m quite confused on how this other Jed thing works.. anyways. He was a journalist and had much knowledge of forensics and the law force in general, he was very helpful in helping me achieve my goal. We had drifted apart due to some differences.. unfortunately, after we cut off contact with eachother he took his life the next week. Completely broke my heart, truly.” It was a lie. Danny had never taken his own life, this kind stranger didn’t need to know that. No one needed to know the truth, it was something he had planned to keep between him and Danny forever. He would take this secret to his grave if he must.

“You know. I don’t like talking to a presence who’s name I don’t know, you know mine. May I have yours?”

“Another ghostface? ...On a scale of one to @shrouded-jed, how much do you go for the carving thing?”

“My old partner used to tell me all about what would lead investigators to a killer easiest.. a signature trait was always high on the list. Whether it be carving, stealing a certain item of your victims. The only way to avoid getting caught is unpredictability.” The red devil spoke, his voice was dripping with confidence and certainty. He truly believed what he was saying. He didn’t always choose to speak of his partner in crime but at this time, it had felt appropriate. He had to give him some credit, Jed wouldn’t have been nearly as skilled of a killer if it wasn’t for his long passed friend. “Enough about me.. Do you care to shed more information on this other Jed you speak of?”
