Christians around the world embarks on Lent, (fasting) for 40 days from sunset to sunset, then Easter season and celebration follows. This is a time to come together as a family, to reflect, pray, and renew focus on the spiritual life. Even if you are not Christian, you will be bombarded by greetings or messages/phrases adorning shopping malls and streets. Be charitable where you can, by giving, you help both your brothers and yourself. Most high God loves those who will help people who are in need. Jesus says, according to the book of saint Luke 6:38,"Give and it shall be given unto you........." Goodness is an essential part of human nature. A man feels inner satisfaction through committing virtuous deeds, like loaning a little money to the poor and helping out a crippled person on the way etc. Such acts of kindness and compassion are the reasons why mankind still exists on the surface the earth; otherwise it would never survive if all of them were cruel and spiteful. The Religion of Christianity greatly emphasizes on the importance of doing good to others.
